The marketing for this brand has been insane so I figured I would try them out. I have no loyalty to a particular sunflower seed brand but have always loved them. Cinnamon Churro - One of the best. This flavor surprised me as I never would have wanted a sweet and sugary sunflower seed, but these are great. Perfect for an early morning game. Ranch - Always been a personal favorite. They deliver well on the flavor. Cracked Pepper - Intense! These almost made me sneeze by the amount of pepper. Almost taste hot in a way. Lemon Pepper - Seems like Cracked Pepper with a hint of lemon. The lemon does suppress the strength of the pepper quite a bit, which I enjoyed more than cracked pepper. Sour Cream & Onion - Flavor seemed lacking. If you poured a large amount in your mouth at once you can get a sense of what they were going for but seed to seed there is not much distinct flavor. Original - Classic sunflower seeds Garlic Parmesan - I taste the garlic bit more than the parmesan but overall a decent option. They definitely hit this flavor profile on the head more than the sour cream & onion. Backyard BBQ - Flavor is on point. has a smokiness taste and a mild spice at the end that is pretty nice. If you typically like BBQ flavored seeds you should enjoy these. Maple Brown Sugar - Another pleasant surprise. These aren't extremely different from cinnamon churro but they do have a uniqueness to the flavor. I think they box check the same box for flavor and would say Cinnamon Churro is the slightly better of the two. Dill Pickle - Spot on flavor. Very similar to other dill pickle sunflower seeds out there. Another personal favorite for me. Cheddar Jalapeño - Very accurate flavor profile and slightly above medium heat level. The flavor took me by surprise in a good way. All flavors have jumbo seeds and range from about 210-280 per serving depending on flavor.

Great seeds. I liked most of the flavors. Always love a good sample pack so I can determine which ones I like going forward.

Great roast, wonderful crack on all of the seeds even when you have had a mouthful squirreled away. If bigs tried the same flavors you couldn’t tell the difference. Nothing earth shattering here. There was no more “dust” than any other seed I’ve had, including Chinook. Flavors: Dill pickle 8/10: if you’ve had Bigs, these are very similar. Good taste but they’ll burn your cheek after a package. Garlic parm 8.5/10: I really liked these, could eat these all day. Cheddar jalepeno 8/10: strong cheese flavor and a wonderful fresh jalepeno profile backing it up. Really strong would be too much after a while. Black pepper 8.5/10: same as Bigs. My favorite flavor but they feel like they have too much salt. Backyard BBQ 8/10: not my flavor of BBQ but these were great. A little sweet with no heat. The red coloring makes these look more seasoned than they are. I prefer the Chinook seed flavor over these. Original 7.5/10: I don’t know how the site lists these as 0 sodium. There’s salt. Standard seed flavor, no complaints. Churro 7/10: not a bad flavor, just different. It does taste like a churro. Very butter forward flavor. Not what I’m looking for in sunflower seeds. Overall, worth trying for some different flavors. I’ll buy them again when they have new stuff to try. Not looking to buy these flavors again, I will be going back to Chinook seeds even though they don’t have the same crack.

I was the “original flavor is the only flavor” guy. I never was into ranch, bbq, or anything else any other seeds had to offer. Those other name brands are great at what they do. But Smackin’ Sunflower Seeds are incredible at what they do. They taste amazing. The variety pack introduced me to all their flavors. They’re all fresh, high quality seeds. They’re not too salty but loaded with flavor. Cinnamon Churro and Maple Brown Sugar are my personal favorites. Even the flavors that weren’t my “favorite” were worth it. I’m ordering a bucket next time.

Marketed as Jumbo seeds but seem about the same as the size I get in packages from the store. Really my issue is that for the price they are small packages and small seeds. Flavor variety is cool but wouldn’t buy again unless there is a huge sale (like 40%+) or they actually made bigger seeds and packages.

Best sunflower seeds ever. Love the variety. Each one of delicious.

They were amazing, but I thought I was going to get more packed than what I received🥹 I want to order a bucket, also I would like to know do you have the bucket that is no salt

Quick and dirty: Seeds are satisfyingly larger than the supermarket brands (they are sunflower seeds, they aren't gonna be massive either way). All flavors are good however, 4 stars because some flavors are weaker that they should be. The BBQ for example was perfect but the churro flavor could've used more kick.
