First off, I can’t stand professional reviewers or paid reviews. I haven’t gotten this for free or at a reduced price. I’m writing this review to help others who may not realize the difference in silk pillowcases and why they should buy silk charmeuse (as opposed to regular silk or synthetic satin).If you are looking for a silk pillowcase for your hair and skin, look no further. What people might not realize is that the silk fabric must be charmeuse if you’re buying for beauty purposes. The more slippery the silk the better, which is why you have to buy charmeuse. Synthetic satin is not a natural fiber but the shiny, slippery feel is what keeps hair from getting ratty and helps with skin wrinkling. The natural equivalent is silk charmeuse.I laundered the pillowcase when it arrived in cold water, hand wash setting and then used very low heat in the dryer. Don’t iron it! It is super soft and STILL shiny, which is what you want. The few wrinkles in the pillowcase will flatten out once you put your pillow in. I couldn’t be more pleased.As for value, this isn’t even much more expensive than other silk pillowcases on amazon that are not charmeuse. The difference in this pillowcase and regular silk is night and day. I’ve used the word charmeuse In this review so many times on purpose! If you are buying a silk pillowcase for beauty purposes it has to be silk charmeuse! I highly recommend. :)

I'm in LOVE with this pillowcase. I'd been reading about silk pillowcases and decided to give one a try. I usually wake with dry skin, especially in the winter months with forced hot air heat. Waking up on the second morning with this pillowcase, my skin was NOTICEABLY softer. I'm also waking up with a LOT fewer tangles in my hair (long, very curly). Usually I have a big case of bed head and this pillow is a huge help with that. It also feels fabulous to sleep on. I love the look of the gunmetal gray and am saving up for the sheets! Highly recommend.

Fits nicely on a wedge pillow that I place under my knees.

Soft pillowcase. It has more of a satin look than expected. I purchased another brand that was a little cheaper that I like better. Overall, it’s a nice pillowcase. It’s exactly as described.

Ordered one pillowcase to try before I committed to ordering for all of my beds. These are a great quality. Make for a great nice sleep. I wanted to try silk pillowcases as I have heard about the benefits for your hair and skin. My hair is smooth and shiny when I wake up and I can see less lines on my face each morning. Another benefit I have noticed that I was not aware of is that these are cooler than cotton pillows. I no longer wake up sweating with wet hair so that is an added bonus. The customer service was great as they arrived quickly. I plan to order a few more.

This pillow case is worth the money! I was skeptical honestly. I’ve used silk pillow cases for 20 yrs and never bought one of this quality. It DOES absolutely feel different than the cheaper ones do on your skin! Highly recommend.

Works great to prevent hair breakage and protects facial skin. Very expensive...but have found you get what you pay for.

I have loved silk pillowcases for years. The Mulberry Park Silk 22mm case was the best in terms of softness, feel, and of course hair care.Recently, when I bought additional one more item, I was so disappointed to find that the surface of the case was changed with a large embroidered logo mark. The embroidery hits my face when I sleep on my side or on my stomach, which is very very uncomfortable. I sincerely hope that this deterioration will be rectified and the quality will be as good as before.
