I bought these on Amazon after watching a review of LED light bulbs on YouTube. The Philips Ultra Definition bulbs where found to have the least flicker of the models tested in that YouTube video. This is a characteristic that I have sought in the LED light bulbs I have bought in recent years. In general, LED light bulbs have been disappointing to me because of the irritating flickering that happens when something in the house like the furnace blower, the air conditioner compressor, refrigerator, or even the dishwasher is running. The flickering happens particularly when a motor turns on or off. These light bulbs have not been effected by this phenomena and I have enjoyed that characteristic of them tremendously. Pros: - Does not flicker when a motor in my home turns on or off. - Bright light with a nice color temperature. - Dimmable. - Fits standard light sockets and in places where CFL lamps may not fit. Same dimensions as a standard incandescent light bulb. - Becomes slightly warm in operation, but not particularly so. Cons: - Not the most energy efficient, but still very good. - This 5000k light bulb might not be the best for a smaller bedroom, as it may be too intense.

I find bright lights for certain rooms is required - bathrooms and kitchens. I've already done the kitchen but just got around to changing the bathroom lighting. However in my mind it did not register that the former owner installed a dimmer switch in the bathroom (?) and I foolishly purchased non-dimmable daylights but did not realize that I should have bought dimmable ones. The kw for the all daylight bulbs is much higher and non-dimmable daylights will not work with a dimmer switch. Already installed the new dimmable daylight bulbs and work perfectly - no flickering or noise. My rollar coaster is resolved.

Very good quality light bulbs! Very good price on the light bulbs! When you order led light bulbs decide whether you want Dimmable or Non-Dimmable light bulbs. Also if you order Led Dimmable light bulbs make sure you have a Led Dimmable light switch .
