I’ve been a full-time professional photographer and videographer for years, and I’ve used a lot of gimbals across different brands and generations. The DJI RS4 is hands-down the best one I’ve owned so far. Setup is fast, balancing is straightforward, and once it’s dialed in, it just works. The stabilization is rock solid, even with heavier camera setups, and the motors feel incredibly responsive without being jerky or overcorrecting. It inspires confidence when you’re shooting real jobs where you don’t get a second take. The build quality is excellent — solid, well-designed, and clearly made for professionals who use their gear daily. Controls are intuitive, battery life has been great for full shoot days, and overall it feels like DJI really refined everything that mattered from previous versions. If you shoot professionally and rely on your gear to perform every time, the RS4 is absolutely worth it. It’s become my go-to gimbal, and at this point I wouldn’t want to go back to anything else.

Decided to step up from my Ronin-M and worth the change. So much easier to use. I am able to use it with my Canon R5C with a 16-34 EF lens and EF to RF adaptor. It's a tight fit and would probably go with the pro if it wasn't so much more expensive but it gets the job done. Works perfectly with my R6 and 5D iv. I paired it with the adjustable Small Rig Arm and V mount battery with a Peak Design strap across my torso to help manage the weight. You do need a usb-c splitter to use the battery and record function on the handle. I use the MOGOOD USB C Splitter 1 in 2 Out Dual USB C Y Splitter Cable

Fantastic piece of hardware. However, this will not automatically smooth out your shots. It is borderline an athletic endeavor to shoot with this device and achieve steady video. Additionally, the camera balancing process can be a bit tedious.

I ordered the DJI RS4 from Amazon, which was sold by Air Foto with fulfillment by Amazon. The item was defective and wouldn't charge past two bars. I called DJI support and they said returning it through Amazon would be easier. So, I called Amazon and I told them I had already throw away the packaging but had the product and said it was defective. They said no problem without the packaging. We sent EVERYTHING in, and THEN, I ordered a new one actually sold by Amazon and it was not defective. Now, Amazon (or, perhaps, Air Foto) is claiming that we did not send the right product back when the only thing missing was the package, and refuses to refund it. Not that the product worked, but they did this without even sending the defective back to me, so I'm now out both money and a defective product! Beware Air Foto!

Really good gimbal. Easy to balance, calibrate and use. It's a little annoying that you must tie it to a phone app, that's pretty intrusive. It stays nice and smooth when walking. Love that it can zoom and record on my FX30 wirelessly. Solid build quality and well thought out.

Awesome new addition to video gear

Actually is a noticable slight upgrade from the RS3 and RS4. I wouldn't go out of the way to get this if you have those already, but for someone who does a large volume of work on Gimbals because of what I shoot, the small changes are very appreciated. Build wise, it's got the same build and feel as the RS4 and RS3, but those extra adjustment knobs for the two extra axis are amazingly useful. It made balancing the 5 a LOT faster than the 4 and 3. Also something nice is all the parts are stealthier black now, which aesthetically I appreciate. So things like the lock down knobs are black instead of silver. The gimbal tripod feet is incredible, and something I appreciate. When you lift one side, all of them open. I had replaced all of my other gimbal feet with the Falcam Treeroot before hand because the falcam did this, but it's nice to have a DJI branded one. So just a heads up, the basic kit DOES NOT come with the tracking module, but you can use the RS4 Mini's module on this. Battery life is consistent with the RS4, and all the accessories from the RS4 and RS3 work also. Very easy to setup if you are comfortable with gimbals.

It came exactly as ordered. The build quality as well as the ease of setup is immaculate. It holds the weight of my camera body and lens, and the compatibility is amazing. Definitely worth the money.

Uno de los mejores estabilizadores del mercado. Que tenga autolock es una comodidad increíble para jornadas largas como bodas. La pila del estabilizador es bastante larga, he tenido eventos de 12 horas y termino con más del 40% de pila. Aún no he usado el motor focus pro pero tenerlo me da una tranquilidad de que cuando tenga la necesidad de usar algún lente zoom pues no tendré problemas con nada. También tiene un modo emergencia que cuando detecta algún problema con los motores se ponen en suspensión para no dañarlos

Ho avuto il piacere di utilizzare il DJI RS4 3-Axis Stabilizer per diversi lavori, sia in ambito professionale che per progetti personali, e posso dire con certezza che è un dispositivo eccezionale.
