Great quality starter set for painting.

Thin all your paints before applying
Great paint, give a decent coverage, don’t forget that you still need to thin it slightly. Colour is vivid and intense after two passes on light primer. Great for slap chop. Super easy to use.

Very good coverage. Everything is here to start off
My tester loved that this came with a figure. The colours are a good range for a starter set. You get the primaries which makes for easy mixing of more colours from those you get. Black and white and silver and gold. Green and leather colour. The paints are quite expensive but they have good coverage so you aren't going back over . You get a grey coloured primer There were 2 brushes with this set, a primer brush and a second beginner brush The figure is tiny, I think most of these figures are this small as the ones we have 3d printed at home have been the same size. The knight was painted in all the colours of this set but the main armour was left because he also had the metallic set to try and wanted to finish the metallic part of the model with those. After the whole model was painted he used the dark wash colour from this set to go over everything and make it stand out more. These are very good paints, quick coverage . Punchy colours. The brushes are small enough to get some detail . He said the metallic colours and the grey and dark wash were rattling when shaken so the mixing balls were doing their job, he couldn't hear any rattling in the other colours. The colours with the rattling, were runnier and the silver and gold were a bit oozy from inside the lids once they were unscrewed. While these paints are dear, they will last absolutely ages as you can literally poke the brush in the top and just paint with it.

I recently started painting miniatures and chose this set as a beginner, but I realize now it was a big mistake. I loved the Warpaints Fanatic paints, and the miniature included in the set was helpful for testing and practice. The quality of the paints impressed me so much that I ordered additional colors directly from the Army Painter website. So, why am I advising against this set? Because I believe that "The Army Painter GameMaster: Adventure Starter Role-playing Paint Set" is much better option - it's also sold in Amazon. It costs about 12-13 euros more, but it comes with same Warpaint Fanatic paints and it includes 15 paints instead of 11. Additionally, it comes with 5 miniatures. The GameMaster set includes a useful skin tone (Barbarian Flesh/Rosy Skin), which will be especially helpful when painting hero figures. So I definitely suggest you to buy GameMaster set instead of Warpaints Fanatic Starter Set.

Recomendo.
