Works good with the large plate was missing the meat tray and instructions
Doesn't work with the smaller blades like they are really dull the larger one cuts good ground 50 pounds of horse meat in 70 minutes does get warm if ran over 20 minutes at a time only takes 5 minutes to cool down

Does the Job
The cogs are metal which is a huge deal in case you get any bone or bullet fragments caught in it (which is why I bought this one.). It's loud just like the other brand I had at this price point. If you think you are going to stuff sausages with this, don't bother. It's terrible and super slow for that. Overall it's definitely a good valuy

Elk Burgers
I ground about 50 pounds of elk meat with this no problem. Just make sure you seat the grinding plate correctly or else it will clog. The motor got a little warm, but didnât seem to affect the functionality.

Very powerful, high quality meat grinder that's well worth the price
Very powerful 575 watt meat grinder, this is my second electric meat grinder and I have to say the quality seems above-average. The stainless steel components are definitely above average. The only drawback is that it only comes with two grinding plates, my other meat grinder came with 8 grinding plates. But to be fair this does come with a sausage stuffer and you can buy additional plates as needed.Don't underestimate the power needed to grind meat effectively and don't be misled by other ads which misleadingly claim 2000 watt "MAX" Motors. There's a huge difference between Max wattage and running wattage, this grinder is rated at 575 running Watts and could easily hit 2,000 Watts Peak if you jam the motor which is what Max watts means. Maximum wattage is the stall rating of the electric motor and is a very misleading way to rate Motors. Running wattage is what you're interested in.The bottom line is you're not going to run a 2000 watt continuous rated grinder from a standard 15 amp household kitchen outlet without popping the breaker. 500 to 700 what is about the best you could expect. With that said I don't know why you need anything more powerful as this thing grinds right through tough cuts of meat like brisket like a hot knife through butter. Also keep in mind that electric meat grinders are very loud and if you do much grinding you should probably wear earplugs. With that said I have no problem recommending this meat grinder. The bottom line is you could pay twice as much for less quality.

First time use, very impressed
I used hand grinder a few times and I said enough.. Tested this grinder today and it works like a champ! No issues at all. Main key is to cut your meat into small 1" cubes and freeze it for 1-2hours, only then grind. Do not overload your grinder, do not rush and don't force it if you feeding those little cubes, they get picked easily. I did 6lb of pork shoulder with nice thick fat, in about 4min, no problem đI haven't tried sausage attachment, because I have a sausage stuffer, but I'm sure that works just fine too. For this price and one of the professional brands, can't beat it!

Very decent meat grinder
My wife used Weston Number 8 Electric Meat Grinder for grinding and stuffing sausages. It was purchased after reading many reviews about different grinders and attachments to KitchenAid and Cuisinart mixers. She has used it 2 times so far and didn't encounter any problems which had been reported in negative reviews for mentioned above items. All operations were quick and clean.
