The historical brand of watches Orient Japan, recently acquired by Seiko, offers a range of stainless steel automatic watches.

Quality, class and value.
This is an excellent watch for the price. The strap comes in for a lot of criticism but Orient have put the money into the watch itself which makes total sense. Personally I like swapping out straps so it hasn't been a problem at all. It has a beautiful dial, with superb little details and runs superbly. Some have commented that the watch comes up small but dress watches are not supposed to be massive dinner plates on your wrist. Orient have become one of my favourite brands after making this purchase. Highly recommended.

The best automatic for the money
UPDATE May 2022Still working perfectly. I managed to adjust the rate spot on. It gains about 2 seconds on an active day, but it usually averages out over the course of a week to zero loss or gain. If there is some gain then I leave it overnight crown down.An automatic watch with a Japanese movement at a very low price. The quality is superb and it looks like a much more expensive watch. Easily as good as a Seiko 5. Timekeeping is as expected for an automatic. Mine is about +12s/day at the moment but should be able to regulate it within a second or two per day. I can't really fault this watch. It's very comfortable on the wrist in spite of the quite basic bracelet.
