Delicious tea
This "Alpine Blanc Edition" loose-leaf tea is so well packaged. It comes in a beautiful tin (sealed) that I'll definitely be keeping when the tea is gone. Inside that tin, the tea comes in a resealable bag to keep it fresh, which I greatly appreciate. The aroma is delightful, strong, and fresh, and the tea looks appetizing. The first time I made this tea, I followed the instructions on the back of the bag (1 teaspoon of tea, 175-degree boiling water, steep for 2-3 minutes) using a tea ball. Despite going the full three minutes, I found the tea weak. The second time, I doubled the amount of tea and used a gravity tea device I got from a now-closed chain, and the tea turned out perfectly. In both cases, even the less strong one, this tea is absolutely delicious. One important thing to note: When steeping this tea, I recommend using a fine mesh tea ball of a device similar to the one I used the second time rather than using an open-hole tea ball as I did first. The smaller leaves in this mix escape the holes too easily. It's a great tea. I highly recommend it, and thanks to the packaging, it will also make a lovely gift.

Wasn't sure about a wine tea but I really like it
I tried this Basilur Wine Tea Collection - Alpine Blanc Edition because the tin looked beautiful, the idea of soursop with ceylon tea sounded delish, and I was curious what a white wine tea would taste like. To be clear, there is no actual wine in this tea. However, the raisins and soursop combined with the white wine flavor give it a fruit profile reminiscent of a fruity white wine, a little sweet but not overpowering. The tea leaves are well dried protected in the beautiful bag and tea tin so you don't have to worry about tea crumbs when making your tea. I steeped it in freshly boiled water for my standard three min for black tea and found the favor and strength to be to my liking.I also appreciate the included education points about using good quality water that is freshly boiled, not reboiled, and why it is important. As a long time tea drinker, I knew this info, but I was pleased to see it as it is helpful in supporting positive tea experiences for those who are newer to the tea world.

Very Enjoyable Flavor
The tea arrives packaged in a resealable bag, inside of a very lovely tin.Unfortunately , my tin arrived with a large dent in the front. It was shipped with no additional protection in one of Amazon's white and blue bubble bags. When I opened the sealed bag, there was a strong scent of grapes. The scent was still present, to a lesser extent, after I brewed a cup of tea. It is a pleasant scent.I brewed the tea as directed, 1 teaspoon for three minutes, and was satisfied with the strength. The taste was delicious. It was not at all bitter, I would say that it was somewhat sweet and fruity, I did not need to add any sweetener. I really like the flavor of this tea, and am planning on trying it over ice as well.

Sweet and Delicious
I came across this new tea brand “BASILUR" from Sri Lanka and tried their green tea which I love. I saw that they do have what looks like an exotic Wine Tea Collection so I have to try it.This product presentation will wow you! The tin container is beautiful. The tea is fully protected inside a vacuum-sealed foil bag. I was mesmerized when I cut and opened the bag - the aroma was so fruity and sweet.I scooped 1 teaspoon of this tea, infused with boiled filtered water, and then steeped for 3 minutes. I cannot stop sniffing the aroma from the steam or evaporating water. My first sip reminded me of sweet white wine. This particular blend will be perfect with dessert or anything sweet that you will serve when entertaining friends. If you buy this as a gift, just remove the plastic with the label and box the container. There are two plastic oblong tape on both sides of the tin container preventing it from accidentally opening.Overall, I enjoyed drinking this tea and will be adding to my pantry’s tea collection. Love it it is really good!

Elegant Gift
This exquisite tin contains under 3 ounces of expertly blended tea, to include the flavors of pekoe, soursop, raisins, and a barely present hint of white wine. The tea is held in a resealable pouch, and the tin is worthy of a place on the kitchen counter. It's decorative as well as useful. At about $5/oz, it's one of the more expensive teas I've bought in a white, but I really do love that the tea is a blend of flavors. I enjoy mixing my own blends, so having it pre-mixed is a bit of a luxury for me. This would make a great gift for the tea-loving friend in your life.

Happy merging of grape soda aromas and a fruity black tea
Basilur’s Wine Tea Collection—Alpine Blanc Edition is a happy merging of grape soda aromas and a fruity black tea.The tea smells amazingly like grape soda from the grape must (and probably the white grape flavoring); HOWEVER, it’s not a super-sweet tea. It’s fruity, but I still added a teaspoon of sugar to find a tea only slightly sweeter than I normally drink it. The sweetness is mostly in the aroma, and any residual sugar is probably naturally from the grape must. The flavor is clean and fruity, the black tea being of high quality. The tin packaging is great—not as amazing as the Book Collection line that Basilur has—but it’s a stylish tin for my shelf!

What an aroma!
I like tea and I like wine but I wasn't sure what I would think of a "wine tea." This tea comes in a very elegant tin with a sealed back of tea inside. Opening the tea, wow, what an aroma! Very grapey, but not in a bad way. You can visually see individual tea leaves, raisins, and bits of something light colored that must be the soursop. I steeped in a tea strainer for about 5 minutes and the aroma is there in the tea as well. The tea leaves unfurled and were visible as pieces of tea leaf, which to me is an indicator of a quality tea. The flavor is light and balanced. This is a really nice afternoon cup.
