Very pleased with these spanx shorts. As you can see in the before and after photos, they really work in slimming the tummy! Makes me feel much more confident in tight clothes after having a baby. This is my first time using shapewear, but I found them easy to get on. I wore these for 12 hours straight the first time I wore them, and they were super comfortable! I forgot I had them on. The fold open gusset design made it super easy to use the restroom without having to take them off. The top of the band did roll down a little, but it didn't show through my clothes and it didn't bother me physically. I'm short (5'-2") so that probably contributes to the rolling. I ordered size Large per the Spanx size chart, and it was the right fit. The shorts seem well constructed and made out of quality materials. Overall, I think these shorts work well and are worth the money. I recommend!

Correct size, seemingly worked well on first use with absolutely no issues but when I went to use them a second time (4 days after the return window closed unfortunately), they ran and tore when I pulled them up (Again, correct size and I have short nails that are not sharp and pulled these on appropriately). I've used other shapewear before (Maidenform) and have had no issues with close to 100 wears on a single one of their garments but this tore and ran on only the second use. I'm very disappointed because I had heard that this brand was quality and had a good reputation but unfortunately I don't believe it is worth the higher cost at all given the low quality. It also rolls awkwardly at the top, pinching the skin but did provide good tummy control the one time I got to wear it.

This was the perfect underwear substitute for my wedding day. No panty lines or waist band lines (I had a fitted mermaid-style dress), no roll down of the waist or roll up of the leg openings, gave me NOTICEABLE waist definition (I am otherwise a rectangle body shape), smoothed my lower belly pooch, and was comfortable all night, through dinner and dancing. Cheaper than the Skims version, which I returned because it was crotchless and almost too compressive. A couple of notes: careful with your nails when putting this on, I poked a couple holes in it by accident even with my very short, very rounded nail extensions. Luckily, the holes did not seem to get any bigger after wearing. Also, I sized up from small to medium. I think that likely helped with the comfort and lack of roll-down. I am usually a size 27 waist in jeans with relatively narrow hips.

Rolls down, more sheer than spandex. I mistook these for the ones Torrid used to sell. Actually got a run in them trying them on so I can't return. Wouldn't buy again

I am 5'1, 125 lbs, and a size 4. I bought this to smooth me out especially my c-section (iykyk) as I wore a silk dress. It did just that, I purchased a size small. It has grip at the top below your breast but it will still roll. What I did to avoid that was tucking it under my bra strap and that worked, no more rolling. The material is breathable and not so thick. It was a little time consuming going to the restroom, it does have a "pee hole" but you can't use it as its not stretchy. I wore it for about 8 hours, super comfortable makes you feel compressed but not suffocating.

I wore the Spanx Higher Power Shorty under my wedding dress, and it was absolutely perfect! It provided just the right amount of smoothing and support without feeling too tight or uncomfortable. The seamless design meant no visible lines, and it stayed in place all day—no rolling down or shifting, even through hours of walking, dancing, and sitting. I also loved that the fabric was lightweight and breathable, so I didn’t feel overheated or restricted. It created a flawless silhouette under my dress without flattening my curves too much. When these arrived I never thought I would be able to fit into them. They stretched nicely and smoothed my abdomen while having a comfortable fit. The top part occasionally slipped down, but otherwise I had no issues with them! Leg part fit nicely without squeezing.

Thin material that ripped with one wear. They also don't stay in place and roll down and the waist. Avoid.
