Maxia 5 58 Liter Top Case (Black w/Red Reflective)

Purchased to replace a well used V55 case. The v57 has redesigned hinges, better locking mech as well as a security feature which will prevent virtually any attempt to rip the case off with a prybar. This case is compatible with any Givi mounting plate be it old or new. The mount plate I am using is over 14 years old and the v57 case attached with no issues. This case does have the ability to have red lights added for additional visibility. The only problem you will have is actually getting the Givi lighting kit. I have been waiting to purchase the kit for a few weeks now and I don't know when/if Givi will ever have it to purchase.

Nice shape. It looks similar to a factory trunk. Large enough to easily carry two helmets. Installation was a breeze. It has a handle and can be carried like a hardsided suitcase. Very nice.

Will hold up to 100mph rides. Can hold quite a bit of gear.

Just ordered this givi maxis 5. It arrived in California in 1 day with prime. The bag fit the mono key base plate from the older version perfectly. It looks great on my gold wing but I do plan on painting the shiny parts to match the bike. I would order from tour and ride again!

I enjoyed the styling of this box and the size is perfect. However, the Givi fasteners are totally ineffective. The box fell off twice while I was riding; once on the highway. A driver found it and returned it to me after finding a document inside with my address. I called Givi and they were convinced I installed it incorrectly so I had it professionally installed and it fell off again. Also, the locking mechanism worked poorly. I purched a more sturdy top box and installed them with U-rings.
