Are they good for 8 hour work shifts. Also are they slip resistant

Depends on type of job. I would only wear them on jobs that are light duty, such as pharmacy or restaurants, no heavy or dirty jobs. They seem to be somewhat slip resistant.

Do they make a shoe with non-slip soles for snow and ice?

I haven't found any as yet, but I might write to the manufacturer to find out. As of now. my go to winter slip ons are Merrill.
