Retinol eye cream by Makari a 30 year old company with an interesting story. Makari products formulated for all skins types, special attention given to melanin rich skin. This 15ml tube has the perfect smoothing applicator. Apply small amount around eyes and smooth with applicator. I have been using only once a day at night. Makari state effects should be felt immediately with increased improvement in 4 weeks and maximum improvement in 12 weeks. Promising a 50% decrease in crows feet. It feels lovely and cooling going on, nice soft consistency. Non irritating around my sensitive eyes. I will report back if 'maximum improvement' felt after 12 weeks. UPDATE: i have cut back from using this so much to once every couple of days because I felt my eyes looked worse and maybe I was overdoing it.

I love using this! I've been using it since I got it, first every other day morning and night time and now I'm gradually using it more days in a row and it feels really nice under my eyes. It doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable in any way, it actually feels very hydrating and comfortable. The applicator is really fun and comfortable as well. It doesn't irritate my skin or anything, I will definitely continue to use it and buy more in the future.

The Makari Eye Cream comes packaged very nicely. The built in applicator is a shiny gold metal. The applicator feels great against the skin and makes applying the cream super easy. The cream itself is white and has a light pleasing scent. I’ve been using the cream for approximately 3 weeks. I feel the cream does moisturize my skin, as for firming the skin, I’d say is a stretch…….If you look at the ingredients, you’ll notice that retinol is the 2nd to last ingredient in this cream.

There is no fragrance/parfum on the ingredients list but this is so heavily scented, I can't put it on my face or anywhere near my eyes. The cream had come out of the tube and leaked around the gold applicator and I could smell it out right away. I put a dab on my hand it it feels nice and silky, but the scent didn't dissipate.

This instantly makes a difference in my under eyes. This brightens, hydrates, smoothes, and depuffs my under eyes as soon as it’s applied. I used this on my husband as well and it smooths his under eyes really well also! My face looks brighter over all and I look more awake and alert. This lasts the entire day for me, my under eyes don’t look dark and I don’t have any issues with this product. There’s no itchiness, no allergic reactions, no pain and no irritation. I really do love this product!

It comes in an appealing looking tube that definitely appears to be high end. The scent of the product is appealing. It is easy to apply dots by your eyes and to gently smooth it in. The product says to start out using every other day and then go to every day. It can be applied day and night.

This MAKARI Retinol Eye Cream is very gentle around the eyes. I had no stinging or irritation. Great ingredients though, retinol is listed second to last, so I don’t know how long it takes to see improvements in my fine lines and puffiness under my eyes from the retinol. It is a good moisturizer for sure. I like the metal tip that has a cooling sensation which feels so good on my skin around my eyes. One thing I don’t like is that it has a fragrance. It’s not an unpleasant scent, but I prefer no fragrance at all, especially the skincare products for around the eyes.
