I have to admit, when I saw this on Amazon, I was unsure about buying it. Why? Because for that price, getting a slow close toilet that is also quick-release had me worried about quality (no one wants a wobbly toilet when they are doing the doo).But, it's the kid's bathroom... So I thought let's just go for it. I was pleasantly surprised about how sturdy it is.The quick-release feature is easy to use, just press the button and pull the seat out from the bolts, placing it back it. Just align the bolts over the holes and slide it down until it clicks into place, makes cleaning very easy.It was also very easy to install and the bolt holes are adjustable to suit different needs. It did have instructions, but it is so straightforward that I didn't actually read them, so I can't tell you how legible they are. However, I do remember seeing clear diagrams on how to do it if you require some guidanceThere is a slight bit of give when moving the seat laterally, so it loses a star for that. It's not the bolts, they hold fast, I believe it's the quick release mechanism. That said, I think this is really good value for money and recommend the product as a standard replacement toilet seat.

Reasonable quality. I imagine it would be hard-wearing but I found it very difficult to fit. I had expected a spacer to be included but was sadly mistaken. Seat was in use about 6 weeks but had to tighten it regularly - as I said i found it difficult to fit. Threw it out and replaced it with one half the price.

I’m happy with this seat as it wasn’t too difficult to fit and did what we hoped it would do.Because we moved into a house with a Gala WC, we saw another review on Amazon who said only Spanish Gala seats worked with Gala WCs, not any others. But the dimensions and fittings looked like it would work, plus no one had our model of Gala, so we went ahead and this seat worked, no problem.I guess it works because it’s got a bit of a universal fitting, that works across a certain range of attachments. Would buy again, plus we can now replace the seat at the press of a button, then simply slot in the new seat.

I wanted a seat with plastic fittings as I hate when chrome goes all horrible. However they broke really easily. This one allows you to fit from the top as opposed to holding a nut underneath. You can get them super super tight but when you put the seat down there is movement . However this doesn’t affect it at all. It does feel a bit flimsy overall but for £15 you also get soft close. The button to remove for cleaning is easy to operate so for the money I’d say it’s quite decent.

Pour changer le mien qui s'est cassé et là je dois dire que je suis ravi par la facilité d'installation, je tiens à préciser que je suis handicapé moteur et n'ai qu'une main de valide et là avec ma seule main ça m'a pris 15 minutes à peine pour l'installer j'ai choisi l'option installation par le haut puisqu'il est possible de l'installer soit par le haut ou le bas, en ce qui me concerne par le haut bien plus pratique nul besoin de se contorsionner, reste à voir maintenant la solidité dans le temps mais jusque là parfait je suis ravi.

Insomma ....costa poco ...Facilissimo da montare e regolare..La plastica è flessibile...È arrivato con un segno sull'asse, il segno è stato poi verniciato, e quindi impossibile da togliere .Cmq ho resistito al reso perché mi serviva, e convinto che non durerà molto, lo cambierò con più attenzione.

Produit facile à installer, livré avec un kit de visserie complet permettant de le fixer par le dessus ou par le dessous, selon le type de WC.Le système de fixation permet des réglages aisés pour installer correctement l'abattant en fonction des dimensions de la cuvette WC. Le système de frein de chute et le bouton de démontage rapide pour faciliter le nettoyage sont deux petits "plus" bien pratiques.Seule critique que je peux faire sur ce modèle : les ronds en plastique qui servent de caches à placer au dessus de la visserie sont d'une couleur grisâtre qui tranche vilainement avec la couleur blanche de l'abattant. De plus, ces deux caches gris ont été livrés abîmés : la peinture grise est comme plissée sur le pourtour. Mais bon, ça ne se voit pas vraiment, une fois montés.Globalement, semble de bonne qualité apparente, et assez solide. Mais il est difficile pour l'instant d'estimer sa bonne durabilité à l'usage, puisqu'il n'est installé que depuis peu.
