I wish I had known about OPI before ! Love this colour and nail varnish.

This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.It comes well-presented in the bottle, with a secure screw-top lid. I do feel that the included brush is of good quality, though it's quite difficult to work with the polish - it starts to dry so quickly that it tends to clump around the brush, making it more difficult to apply even strokes to the nails. I found myself smudging it and making a lot of mistakes.Once on, it has a deep 'latte' style colour, with a gel-like finish. Only one coat is needed, and it also works brilliantly with the base & top coat varnishes from the same range. Having already tried another colour, I can say that it tends to last a few days before chipping, and that is despite doing the washing up, etc.In summary, a good value item.

I’ve been a fan of OPI nail polish for a while now and so I was really excited to try this varnish from their gel like nail varnish range. OPI nail polish is one of the best in my opinion as I’ve always had flawless applications that last. I also find that with this particular brand, the varnish drys quite quickly. I always use an OPI base and topcoat when applying the polish as I find this gives long lasting results. If you follow the instructions, you really can’t go wrong. Would I recommend? Absolutely.

Who doesn’t love OPI Nail Polish. The gel-like finish and almost wet look shine of this nail polish looks so good. The colour is ‘Barefoot in Barcelona’ which is a pinky taupe type of colour that goes with so much and is ideal to go with summer neutrals. Although it is gel-like, it does not require a UV light and comes off with nail polish remover. It is from the Infinite Shine Long Lasting range and it really lives up to its name giving a great shine plus it is hard wearing. I think this type of colour is quite a classic nail that always looks smart. It is best applied with an undercoat first. I am really pleased with this nail polish and love the colour and glossy finish.

Great colour which goes on smoothly and dries quickly. However, it chips just as easily as any other polish and therefore cannot be worn for more than a few days. Not great value for money for that reason.

OPI Barefoot in Barcelona polish is the usual high quality nail polish that OPI always seems to deliver.This particular polish is part of the Infinite Shine Long-wear System. The product info suggests that this is a creamy dark beige nude, but I would put it as more of a dusky pink nude tone. It's a lovely shade.I needed to apply 2 reasonably thick coats to get full coverage and it dried surprisingly quickly considering I haven't used a top coat. It's hard within 30 minutes, but not fully cured. I recommend a quick dry coat if you need it to be fully hard quickly, but even then it will need some curing time.Once on, it has a lovely glossy shine. If you want a gel like effect use the infinite shine top coat (the one in a black bottle).This is a really nice colour, I've not got anything else like it in my collection so feel sure it will get lots of use out of it!

Consistency is nice and good amount of flow. The applicator was easy to use and allowed for thin application. Definitely need 2 coats minimum with thin coats and you could get away with 1 coat for a thick layer. Dried nicely, not too fast that I couldn't edit my mistakes but not too long that I'd have to wait a while to apply the 2nd coat. The colour is a lot darker than it shows in the pictures. It dries with a slight glossy look - it's shiny not matte.
