I’ve been using the e.l.f. Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray for a little while now, and honestly, I’m really happy with it. I was looking for something that would help my makeup last longer while still giving my skin a natural glow, and this does exactly that. As soon as I spray it on, my makeup looks more blended and less powdery, which I love. One thing I noticed right away is how refreshing it feels on my skin. The mist is nice and fine, and it doesn’t leave my face feeling sticky or heavy. Throughout the day, my makeup stays looking fresh, and I don’t feel the need to touch it up as much as I used to. I also love the dewy finish it gives. My skin looks healthy and hydrated without appearing oily. For the price, I think it’s amazing value, and it’s definitely a product I’ll keep repurchasing. If you’re looking for an affordable setting spray that helps your makeup last and gives you a beautiful glow, I’d highly recommend giving this one a try.

This stuff is amazing! Lovely natural glow to set the face, adds an extra layer of hydration without making my face look greasy. Has the finest mist I’ve ever come across with a setting spray and I’ve tried loads! This would probably be the only one I actually would recommend to friends. Pleasing smell without tons of fragrance as opposed to others. Doesn’t necessarily hold make up on I wouldn’t say but definitely adds a layer of protection so it’s a b it more stubborn to rub off than without it. Good price point too and one bottle lasts me forever.

Works very well. I absolutely tore up my lunch and my lips are still intact and gorge after all that. I have never felt so elegant while so hungry. Doesn’t smell that bad, I think it’s good for my dry skin girlies but if you have oily skin I’d recommend one of their matte-ifying ones. My skin looks dewy, all that

It’s great value for money and the mist is super fine. It does leave a subtle glow but not as dewy as some other popular choices. However, I do find I have to use generously, leave to dry, then do a second pass. It does help to keep makeup fresh but it doesn’t set transfer proof in my opinion.

So impressed with this spray! I had a full day in London, tubes, trains, almost 40deg heat and I didn't have to retouch my makeup once. Was it perfect, no, but good enough to a) still be on my face and b) not need retouching. It leaves a lovely dewy finish. I didn't want the slightly crispy/set feel that some of the other setting sprays leave, although they maybe make your makeup last even longer. For me this is the perfect combination. I personally wouldn't wear it every day, but you absolutely could do. Price point was good, it was a bit of a gamble for me so I didn't want to fork out for one of the more expensive ones. It also feels quite nice when you spritz it on, isn't drying (i have slightly sensitive skin) and doesn't have any awful smell/residue. Highly recommend!

Used this twice now, it’s worked fine but I have not had it on for very long (only had it on about 5 hours each time) so not sure how well it does on a long day. Also I have found that my makeup still transfers when I use it.

Very good primer .it cam be used before make up and after. I find my make-up lasts all day amd night when using this maybeline primer. It leaves no sticky residue

It’s not the most long-lasting of setting sprays but my makeup does stay in place with one or two touch-up sprays in the day. It’s light enough that it doesn’t feel heavy to reapply and feels great on the skin. Smal enough to chuck in your bag for on-the-go which I often do! No leaks so far which is a bonus. I find a lot of setting sprays dry out my skin so it’s nice to have one that doesn’t dry it out much at all. I love the dewy look and it pairs really well with my dewy foundation and concealer. Highly recommend 👍

I prefer to use it as a mist while applying makeup to melt in the powders, as well as using it to enhance shimmers in my eyeshadow palettes by spraying the brush. Since my skin is oily, I feel like this setting spray leaves my base too shiny, which leads to me feeling greasy, so I definitely don’t like to use it as my finishing spray. However, the product is really good.

I have to give credit where credit is due. I stopped using e.l.f. years ago after trying one of their products and being completely underwhelmed. After seeing so much hype lately, I finally decided to give them another chance and picked up the Power Grip Primer and Power Grip Setting Spray. For context, I have large pores, oily skin, and I get shiny and sweaty fast. Keeping makeup looking fresh throughout the day has always been a struggle for me. I was spending a small fortune on a high-end primer and the L'Oréal Infallible 3 Second Setting Mist because I thought that was the only way to control the oil and keep my makeup in place. Turns out I was wrong. The Power Grip Primer smooths everything out and helps minimize the look of my pores, while the Setting Spray keeps my makeup looking fresh for hours. My makeup stays put, my skin looks less greasy, and I don't feel like I'm constantly checking the mirror to see if I've turned into an oil slick. The biggest surprise? These affordable products are outperforming products that cost me way more money. My makeup lasts longer, looks better, and I'm saving money at the same time. Consider me officially converted. e.l.f., you got me back. I am hooked for life!
