Celtic, Medieval and Tudor Wall Hangings in 1/12 Scale Needlepoint

I thought this book was lovely and well illustrated, and can't wait to start on some of the projects. There is a good selection of tapestries types and colors. I've seen one review from a disgruntled buyer but personally I didn't expect (and couldn't handle anyway) extremely elaborated and detailed museum tapestries - not all could be brought down to this scale and handled by amateurs. This isn't basic, don't let me mislead you there - I just think that anyone who complained also likes doing 10,000-piece jigsaw puzzles :-)

I was very disappointed with this book. I had expected some wonderful recreations of patterns and designs I had seen in tapestries and photos of Tudor castles and medieval settings but very little of that is to be had here. If you are interested in it, check out a copy of this at your local library before purchasing, if you're still interested go forth and buy, but at least you'll have heads up on the limited nature of this collection.

What a wonderful book (in good condition too). Good, clear images. I've never done needlepoint & look forward to starting.

I understand this book was sold as second hand but the condition of it leaves a lot to be desired. It has been badly chewed at the bottom by something very strange, I just hope it does not also contain any nasty things I can catch. Very disappointed!

Great little book for making miniature medieval tapestries for your dolls house.Very pleased.

The designs in here are wonderful, I hope I can do them justice.
