Dabur Glucose-D Instant Energy - 1kg

Dabur Glucose-D is a convenient drink powder that mixes easily with water and has a refreshing taste. It is a great option to keep at home for quick energy and hydration, especially during hot weather or after physical activity. The powder dissolves well without much effort, and the 1 kg pack is economical for regular use. The added Vitamin D and Calcium are an added benefit. Overall, a good-quality and convenient glucose drink for the whole family.

It's good product

Glucose-D is one of those products we’ve had at home on and off for years, especially during the hot summer months. This time I went for the Dabur Glucose-D 1 kg pack, mainly because the smaller packs tend to finish rather quickly when more than one person at home is having it. Coming to the taste, it has that familiar sweet glucose taste and is quite refreshing when mixed with chilled water. There’s nothing fancy about the flavour, and honestly, that’s what I prefer. On particularly hot afternoons, I usually make a glass with cold water and adjust the quantity according to how sweet I want it. It dissolves fairly easily with a good stir. One thing worth mentioning is the sugar content/sweetness. This is a glucose-based drink powder, so naturally it tastes quite sweet. I personally don’t add more powder than required just to make the drink stronger. If you’re someone who monitors sugar intake, definitely read the nutrition information on the pack and decide the serving accordingly. I wouldn’t treat it as a replacement for plain water or use it like an unrestricted everyday beverage. The product I received appeared properly packed and genuine, with the expected Dabur packaging and product information. The powder was in good condition when opened. With a large 1 kg quantity, however, proper storage becomes important. I transfer it to a clean, completely dry airtight container after opening because moisture can easily make this type of powder form lumps. As far as convenience goes, it’s hard to complain. Just add it to water, stir properly, and the drink is ready within seconds. During summer, after coming home from outside, chilled Glucose-D feels particularly refreshing. The 1 kg pack is also more practical for a family than repeatedly buying small packets. The pack mentions added nutrients such as Vitamin D and calcium, which is a welcome addition. That said, I look at this primarily as a glucose drink rather than expecting it to replace a balanced diet or regular nutritional sources. What I appreciate most is that the product keeps things simple: familiar taste, quick preparation, easy mixing and a family-sized quantity. There’s no complicated preparation involved, and you can easily control the sweetness by adjusting how much powder you put in. For anyone buying it for the first time, my only suggestion would be to keep an eye on the serving quantity because it is sweet, and always store the powder away from moisture after opening. Apart from that, the 1 kg carton is convenient to keep at home, particularly during the warmer months.
