D R Harris Shaving Soap Refill in Almond (100 g)

I love the smell, which is actually almond flower, or so I've read, but we don't have almond trees in this country, so I wouldn't know how accurate that is. It's doesn't smell like almonds, i.e. marcipan, but that's not what I wanted anyway. I read some review and comparison between this and the other ones like Arlington. I've only tried this one, but the review/comments/discussion on some shaving forum was that he liked the smell of the Arlington better, but that the lather quality is better on the almond. That's all that matters to me, that and not smelling like grandpa, so I bought a refill at the same time do save on shipping. Soap lasts forever. Best shaving buy along with Vulfix 2234 Silvertip and Merkur Futur brushed steel version.

used to always go with Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna in the Nomad collection, but range has change. so has the soap, dissappointed, say the least. My wife Read through Loads of other reviews and plumped for this. So pleased. Its great, lovely and frothy, Helps for great shave. Have VERY sensitive skin, and it feels so smooth and comfortable after. Smells subtle, nice, not too overpowering if you want to use any other fragrances after. Well worth a try. I will definately stick to this now. please don't change anything with this product. would definately recommend, also arrived quicker than expected, nicely packaged, and fits in my original shaving bowl, so very happy all round.

Good soap, not much scent

Fantastic shaving soap from one of the older established company's, one of the closest shaves I have had, recently I brought 2 trumpers soaps but was bitterly disappointed, because they have changed their formulation of the soap and I couldn't get a decent lather. After looking at some reviews online I found D R Harris was the soap I should have tried, fantastic will try some of the different scents from them when I've finished these, only hope they don't change their formula, as far as scent goes very nice not too over powering if you want to wear aftershave, I don't because I have sensitive skin, I swirled my brush for less than30 seconds and transferred brush to bowl and mixed took less than a minute or so to get thick creamy lather, we have hard water in our area these will last me a long time. Great soap to use, a good lather which I need for my heavy growth, after shaving it makes my face nice and smooth with a slight perfumed aroma which I like.

Excellent shaving soap I have been using since visiting their shop in London that alas seems no more.

I haven’t tried a ton of different soaps, but this one has been great. Lathers up better than any of the other dozen or so

My husbands face is very sensitive and this is the only shaving soap that he can use.
