The sale page for this product shows it attached to the side of a vehicle and mounting an Osmo Pocket 3 - yeah sure! Well, absolutely, yeah sure. The magnet in this mount almost jumps at the metal to stick on, and I would be very comfortable mounting my Osmo Pocket 3 to my vehicle with this mount.There is not a whole lot to the mount - a magnetic base and an attachment head - and I felt like the attachment was a little primitive, but it is very adjustable and my only gripe is that there is only one screw to tighten both axes, but that is a small point. The base has a 1/4 socket so you could put just about anything on there - but the supplied mount works fine and I learned to deal with it quickly.The advantage to this mount is obvious: if it's ferrous, this base will stick to it like it was welded - it really is that strong. I noted that there is exactly zero ferrous material in the mount head, because you would never get it apart.This is a great tool to keep in your bag for your Osmo Pocket three, or anything you wanted to mount securely. I imagined mounting the camera up high and out of the way and controlling it with the app - and never worrying that it would come crashing down. Once this magnet attaches, you will have to work to remove it, but that's exactly what you want when your expensive camera is attached.This powerful magnetic mount is designed to attach really well and it does that without question. It is capable of mounting your action camera or any small camera - and with the right ball head attachment I believe it would hold my large DSLR with no effort. I recommend it

This product appears well made, adjusts horizontally and vertically, and holds fairly tight. It is magnetic, and I found it does stick tightly to the metal surfaces on automobiles. However, I probably will not attempt to use it sideways because when a camera is added, the weight could potentially cause the arm to come loose. I have it in my kit for specific situations where a suction cup mount won't work.

Works really well. The magnet on this is really strong, can hold up a mirrorless camera or a nice small COB light like the Zhiyun Molus X100 without issues (even with the small pop up softbox). The feet is rubberized to limit damage, and all you need to do to remove it is grab the stem close to the tripod mount on the plate and leverage it off.It also works great as a table top tripod since there's enough weight on the base to hold up the camera.Because the magnet is basically just a plate with a tripod mount, you can even use your own magic arm on it. The one that comes with it is nice but doesn't allow my camera to go completely horizontal while facing 90 degrees, but I put another arm on it and it was perfect.For the creative this thing can be an opening for a lot of different perspectives and shots. Not only just for a camera, but to mount lighting and other things also. I'm really impressed by the convenience of the size along with the strength of it.It's really awesome. While this is a Vine test unit review, I plan on immediately purchasing 3 more for various lighting and creative projects for work and at the office. How low profile it is from the start is great, but paired with other items already at the studio, I feel these can be game changers for certain projects.

When you’re always looking for more ways to mount or place your camera, whether it’s an action camera, video camera, or SLR/DSLR, then you’re bound to find some keepers. You’re also going to find some “next” items, too. This is definitely in the first category.I’ve tried a variety of magnetic mounts. Some work okay, and some are really good. This one has a very strong magnet and the wide base (3-1/2”) that keeps you from leveraging the base off the surface. The Magic Arm makes it even more adjustable so you can easily get a vertical orientation from a horizontal metal surface with a camera like the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.The great part about this item is that it helps solve one of the big issues with the Pocket 3; it’s super unstable when set on a flat surface. It extends so high up, it’s top heavy. This heavy and wide base give it the weight it needs to change the center of gravity, while also giving stability through a wide footprint. Still not perfectly stable, but it’s a big difference.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it for others? Yes, most definitely. I need a larger carrying case for my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and accessories.

I have a few other mounts like this that I paid a bit more for. This one is just as good for a better price. The magic arm part of it is actually made out of metal and holds its position very well. Highly recommended.
