A UPS built like a tank - True 1:1 Watts to VA rating!
I have several UPS units (Cyberpower & APC) around the house.I purchased a new gaming computer (14900K & 4090), any time i did a benchmark or booted up a heavy game (Cyberpunk 2077, etc...) my previous UPS immediately signaled overload and began howling at me.After some research, I discovered the unit I'm reviewing, and couldn't be happier. The Good:+ Supports a TRUE 1500w! Even the manual states it has a run-time of ~5 min at full load. Believe it.+ Many options and features as well as a useful, matter-of-fact display unit.+ Feels incredibly well built.+ Detachable face plate and cord included (Screen snaps off the unit and is connected by cable)+ Adequate to protect a MONSTER PC that pulls ~1,300-watt surges when running at max power. The Bad:- Weighs a shocking amount (Think: A loaf of bread made from cast iron!)- Display turns off too early and doesn't seem to have an option to change the time delay.- Requires downloading a different web-based app to monitor the UPS from the PC.- Fans sometimes spin up for no reason even when no load or power fault is occurring.

Works great off 120 for me
Getting this with free shipping was a heck of a deal - it weighs 55 lbs!Very heavy item with two extra-large batteries inside, but it arrived fast and worked right away. The manual instructs you to charge the item for up to 8 hours to get batteries to 100% before using; for me it was at 100% when I first plugged it in, so after a few minutes I went about plugging everything in.The screen is more robust than on my smaller CyberPower unit, it can show voltage and watts used, estimated runtime left, and a host of other bits of information. I love the current watts usage and runtime reminaining features, give you an idea of how much time you have next time the power goes out.I hooked this up to my PC computer, PC speakers, dropcam, a 55" LCD TV, tivo, wifi router, an apple Mac Mini acting as a HTPC, and an external hard drive expanding RAID array. Oh yeah, I also have my TV's surround sound running off this CyberPower. All of that together, used at once, didn't eclipse 300 watts for me and the screen shows my estimated runtime between an hour and twenty minutes and an hour and forty five minutes. If I can get an hour and a half of TV watching or Internet surfing or report typing during a power outage, that's fantastic. So far, so good. I am thinking of ordering another to hook up in another area of the house for backup power during outages. In the next application I probably won't need the Sinewave output but it's nice to have and I don't know if you can get a 4x9ah battery backup system without Sinewave for less (if you find one let me know!)

Very good UPS with full-fledged network management card (PR1500LCDN)
Some background about me - I've worked in IT since 1999 for small and medium sized companies and managed service providers (MSPs). IT services, power equipment, datacenter, and networking are my primary skills.I live in an area where power is less reliable in the summer months, and more reliable during the winter months. Therefore, I have UPSes on all of my electronic equipment. I chose one CyberPower PR1500LCDN to replace two TrippLite SMART1500LCD. This turns out to be a wise choice for several reasons:1) The battery runtime of this 1500 is at least 2x longer than the tripplite 1500 model2) The battery useable life is rated at 4 years, where the AGM SLA batteries in other models are 2 years3) The NMC is a real NMC, fully fledged with complete feature set, including GUI, CLI, and SNMP options.4) The NMC can be connected to CyberPower Cloud, which is great, compared to AMC SmartConnect5) The detachable front display is useful - can hide the UPS, yet still see how it's performing6) Can control 2 loads - "Critical Load" and "Non-Critical Load", with configurable NCL shutdown options7) CyberPower cloud has enough options, subscriptions, and features to be actually useful for reasonable $8) The output is pure sine wave, and that's a huge plusThe feature set of this UPS exceeded my expectations that I didn't know I needed to have or care about. The ability to have the UPS run a non-critical load for a certain amount of time and turn that load off at an earlier point in time is awesome. This allows a critical load to run longer while turning off things that don't absolutely need to stay powered on. For example a laptop could be plugged into a non-critical load bank, set to a power off delay interval up to 30 minutes, and then turn off the NCL, extending battery runtime for the critical load. Neat.I like the security options, encryption cipher selection, operation configuration options. It's really great compared to TrippLite and APC. CyberPower has come a very long way in the last 25 years and upped their professional game. Very happy with the purchase and looking forward to 8+ years of useable life.

Plug in and works
It’s a battery backup so not too complicated. Plug in and works. Haven’t had a power outage yet but I’m sure it will be fine. I had to get this because my computer by itself has 1000 watt power supply plus monitors, etc. Just know that it is heavy!

Good Backup Power
I needed a greater capacity backup power supply after adding some additional equipment to my internet access hub. I had a smaller APC unit that has performed well over 6 years, but it would last only about 1 hour with the additional equipment's load. This CyberPower's two 12 volt / 17 amp batteries will carry my expanded 100 watt load for 4 hours. The unit has a variety of setup options, and the removable and informative user interface panel can be relocated via its extension cable for easier access if the unit itself is mounted in an inaccessible location. The only criticism is that with the unit's 60 lb. weight, its shipping box should have been banded with fiberglass straps. It arrived partially open (fortunately undamaged) even though it was in the shipping channel for only 24 hours. Otherwise, it's a good value and I recommend it to anyone wanting a UPS of this caliber.
