This has been my go to cacao powder for a few years now. When i saw a researcher had tested many brands but didn't get a response from this one so didn't recommend it, I wrote to them asking about the test results the researcher had inquired about, and I got an immediate response with the information requested. They said they would reach out directly to the researcher and respond with the pertinent information. This satisfied my questions and possible concerns and I have nothing but good things to say about this company and the cacao powder. I use it mostly in making "chocolate" milk with stevia drops but also when baking and I've never had a problem and always had great taste and results. The product is consistently the same. I always get the 2 lb pkg since I use so much of it and it's a good price. It has a good rich color, the smell is terrific, and being organic is just another plus. Love this cacao!

I use this cacao powder in smoothies and it’s really good. It has a smooth texture, blends easily, and adds a rich chocolate flavor without bitterness. Very happy with the quality.

Outstanding chocolate quality, slightly naturally bitter however not overly more than it should be as naturally occurs. Very rich, super fine grind, great value for money. I'm a big fan of this Organic Cacao Powder!

I've been looking for a quality cacao powder, and I found one in this product. There's been a lot of talk about heavy metals in cacao, and it made me uneasy to buy anything but then I decided to trust this company and I use it and enjoy it. I pray over it, too. :) Eat, drink, be merry, and be happy and thankful each and every day. (BTW: I created a great gluten free chocolate cookie recipe using Viva Naturals Organic Cacao.)

The cocoa itself is very good, but something very personal is that it takes a long time to dissolve (I don't know if this information helps anyone, but for me it's important). If you don't mix it into something hot and stir it, the lumps remain on the surface. Apart from that problem, the cocoa is really good, it tastes like cocoa, it's vegan, and it has no sugar.

I added a tablespoon to my protein yogurt, topped it with granola, honey and strawberries and wow it is good! I also mixed in a spoon full of lite cool whip to give it a whipped / mousse effect. It is delicious. Excited to add this to my daily routine to get maximum benefits of cacao!

This cacao, tastes really good in my coffee. I add 1 tbs of unsulphured blackstrap molasses and 1tbs of cacao powder to 16 ounces of organic black coffee (decaf). It tastes really good and hoping the nutrients are healthy and good for my body. This is way cheaper than spending six or seven dollars daily for a mocha that's way overpriced at one of the coffee establishments I used to frequent.

Excellent flavor, it blends smoothly and there is no bitterness at all. I used it to make brownies, and this cacao added a richness and depth of flavor that had been missing when I’d used the Hershey’s brand powder for the recipe. I highly recommend this cacao!! The packaging is not the best, it is vacuum sealed and there is powder at the bag’s opening. Be careful when opening it, and have a way to close/clamp it securely because the bag does not reseal.
