Complete Service Manual for American Flyer Trains

It is a little pricey but still worth the money.

The most clearest, best lasting quality of all the American Flyer Manuals I have. Well printed and incorporates original drawings and other items exactly as the original Gilbert publications and instruction sheets.

I ask for a new book and got an old used one. Not happy!! $128.39 is a steep price to pay.

It is a wealth of information for trouble shooting, installing, and operating all American Flyer trains and accessories. I particularly like the detailed part list for each item.

It lacks some vital information, particularly in the repair areas. It gives almost no information on the 342 however it gives info on the 342DC and the 342AC. Most related info on the 342 is listed under the 343 and even that is sketchy. The book seems somewhat disorganized and in no way can be considered a serious repair manual with the the possible exception of peripheral cars (dining cars, track repair cars etc.).
