My kiddos loved the color for sure but I like how many pockets it is. We put a 5subject ring binder, 2packets of loose paper, sketch pad, a folder and a pencil box on the inside big pocket. The smaller pocket in the front was also full and the water bottle holder seems pretty durable and can hold his water bottle. The bag held all of that in and the straps handled all of it. so to me it’s worth it I wish the size in general was a little bigger but it definitely works well.

Grandson loved it uses it as a survival pack.
