Working great to over winter my pepper plant
Working great! Bought it keep my pepper plant warm in a 5 gallon bucket. Wish it would turn down to a lower heat, but at the lowest setting my pant is doing great.

To all the people saying it melted their bucket, the dial is in deg Celsius
This thing works great for the price. I'm using it for maceration and is making quick work of my products. Fits standard 5gal bucket really well. I have some tall 6gal buckets that are a little thinner and the heater is a bit too big but still stays on with a couple of zip ties. Temp of the water in the bucket stays very consistent. The dial is in degrees Celsius, so make sure you don't mistake it for Fahrenheit or you will have problems.

A good product for negative weather in ny
First time user, saw this product when looking for something to keep pet dog water from freezer in ny winter. Granted there was no instructions or proper packaging on this, just wrapped in plastic and a shipping bag. I was nervous that I might of got a expensive item that was useless. But I tested it over night in 15 degree weather before bringing it to the dogs and it actually worked. A consistent 120 degrees on a 5 gallon bucket. It has higher and lower temp settings so I can adjust it to the correct warmth for drinking water

Works great.
Ok it works great. Maybe a little to great for a plastic bucket. You have to be careful with the temperature which is Celsius and keep a full fluid level or I think it would burn itself out. It gets insanely hot if it doesn't have fluid behind it to keep it cool. You really need a metal bucket with straight sides, not tapered plastic bucket to properly use it

Liquifies Buckets of Crystalized Honey
This works really well to liquify buckets of crystalized honey. The springs don't work great for buckets with sloped sides (like most), so a bungee cord or some rope or twine wrapped around it will keep it in contact with the bucket. Slowly increase the temp so you don't overheat your honey. Once you know what temp's best, the second bucket will go quickly!
