Got the job done! A little unbalanced.
I'm happy with this magnet. I picked up probably 3 lbs of wood screws with this. It pulled them from grass. It pulled them from partial burial. About a handful at a time. The build quality seems fine for $20. The handle is solid and the item is heavier than I expected...Now for my concerns. It is unbalanced. It's much heavier on the magnet end. So it kinda strains the hand. Another thing is it telescopes but it's difficult to angle the magnet head straight. Which sets off my OCD a lil...All in all it did the job. At a price I can afford. So yes I'd recommend it. I would buy this again. The magnet is plenty strong and the build quality is good. Thanks and have a good day! 👍

Great for getting screws and nails out of the yard
Definitely nice to have around for picking up screws and nails that might fall out of the back of your truck and would normally puncture a tire. I think the length is just right what does telescoping handle. it's compact and very easy to store out of the way. I like the looks of it and it's easy to keep clean also a Good way to find or retrieve your keys if they get lost in the yard or to grab a wrench that falls under your truck or car. It will pick up up anything metal but probably not as heavy as they boast in the description. I like the quality of the tool and as I stated earlier the versatility makes it a good tool to have around. There is nothing to install with it as it comes in one piece and ready to use.

Absolutely Awesome!
My hubby and I are building a house and we purchased this magnetic tool to pick up the thousands upon thousands of nails littered around the house and building site. I kind of scoffed at my hubby when he wanted to purchase this because it seems a bit ridiculous, but as it turns out it is AWESOME. It works fabulously. The magnet is strong and picks up a lot of nails. It even picked up a nail stuck in a large medium size chunk of concrete, so I totally believe the 50lb grip. It makes picking up the nails a heck of a lot easier, and it makes the job a bit more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tool!! It was also ridiculously affordable, which even further makes it a worthy purchase!

It picks up stuff
A must have tool for the field mechanic for when you drop a small item in the dirt! I would tell a story about the first time I used my first one but no one would believe it!! Seriously!

Just okay
I have a magnet pick up tool already (another kinda) but bought this one for a vacation home. It's just alright. Magnet seems strong enough. The grip on the handle is a little oversized and the end is not firm and the pipe does not run all the way through it. Another thing I didn't like is that it does not lock when it's extended out, and the fit is sloppy between the two sections. Soooooo, i drilled a hole and added a small machine screw and nut to both lock it open and get rid of the slop.

The Tire Saver!
I'm really pleased with this handy tool. We tore down two old sheds and needed to clean up the myriad nails and screws left behind. We checked with our local rental place about renting a magnet tool. They quoted us $19 a day for rental. We thought we'd give this tool a try instead. It worked great for us. The first nail I found was in the driveway in the path of the truck. It's plenty strong for picking up, to the point where it's hard to pull the larger nails off the magnet. Each nail found gives a satisfying "plink" upon contact. It's my favorite part of the construction (or deconstruction) job now. If you are trying to clear a large area (like a roofing job) this isn't the best tool. But, for smaller jobs, it's terrific.

Magnetic answer!
Works like magic to clear ash pile of nails, staples, metal straps before moving ashes. Way easier than using rake and eye-balling for metal!
