Not for Thick Hair
These don’t hold much hair, despite being large in size, making them inconvenient for a quick do. My hair is thick but fine and it took me several tries taking out more hair each time to try and clip it closed. Wouldn’t recommend.

Work great!
These are very nice clips that hold my hair securely. We've been doing tornado clean-up in my community and every day I've put my hair up, I use these clips to secure the sides and they hold all day. They feel sturdy and as if they will take a bit of a beating. They feel comfortable and for the amount you get, I feel it's worth the price.
