I have been using these for a couple years and they have been life savers. Can be a little challenging to put in but does great protecting my carbon wheels. Did land on a square rock and cracked the rim during a race but was able to keep going with the inserts since the rim was done, not much to worry but knew the inserts could still help make it to the finish. Mostly used for XC/marathon mtb.

Very difficult to install with American classic's tire. This inserts makes less gap between Rim and Tire, and impossible to install with using tire levers. I guess more wider rim would be better to install. At all end, I gave up to install this inserts.

Ordered inserts for two of my bikes and, though it didn’t fit my 28mm rim, it seamlessly fitted into the 23mm rim tyre, so apparently knowing the right size is the key here before ordering the insert. Other than that, no doubt about how the inserts made my tyres feel more durable, and sturdy and also smoother and lightweight giving me the confidence to go at my fastest pace without worrying about sudden flats or punctures, which works for me!

It's a bit of a chore to install, but I'm used to that because it seems like everything tubeless is a chore even for all the supposed benefits, and makes me wish I just stuck with tubes. I have a wide tired gravel bike so it wasn't that hard to install, but I can see it being a nightmare on smaller-rimmed tires.7/10 I would recommend this. I hope this review is helpful to someone.

Switching from wtb trail boss and tubes to maxis rekon with these inserts saved over a pound.Not hard to install just and extra step. So far no issues with the insert after a month on multiple trails and pump track. I’m running 18psi in the rear of my hardtail and loving the grip I get from this combination. Lighter and better grip and feel on the trail. The insert gives me the confidence to run the lower pressure out on the trail.

Had to write a review after reading how many complained about installing the inserts. There is a youtube video on "Tubolight EVO fitting instructions". The key is to insert one lip completely into the rim first, and then the other. Just like you would a tire - one bead at a time. As for durablility, I'm still using the first pair bought 4 years ago. Since they are so lightweight (evo gravel) they look and feel fragile. But each time I switch tires or change out the sealant, they look fine with no wear. Saved my tires and rims many times. I'm about 150 lbs and run 20-22 psi on 42-45c tires. Allows me to mute out the chunky rocks at speed.

I've installed enough inserts to know that this will not fit around my wheel.Either the wrong size got packed or I got a defective one. I've seen the install video. I cannot even get close to how it looks without using levers. There is no way to get this around the wheel without splitting the insert.

It works fine but kind of a challenge to get installed. Definitely check your tire size before ordering.

Prodotto che per carità probabilmente protegge il cerchio da ammaccature (uso non gravoso), ma realizzato veramente comn materiale da isolamento termico di bassa qualità.. Prezzo spropositato visto com'è fatto.

Buon feeling di guida, ma purtroppo é durato solo per 3 uscite, poiché si sono creati grossi tagli nell'inserto e inoltre assorbe troppo lattice.
