I never leave reviews but felt compelled to do so for this product. I bought this as a easier option than dragging our Dyson Animal mains powered hoover out of the cupboard. We are both busy working parents and never seem to find the time to hoover as the Dyson is heavy, cumbersome and restrictive (cord length etc).I was considering buying a Dyson equivalent but the price put me off. I had heard bad reviews too about battery life etc. So I decided to go for this model as the battery life seemed to be better (reading other peoples reviews) and they were right. It took a few hours to charge up at first, which was to be expected and managed to hoover the whole of our house downstairs in 5 minutes, losing less than 1 bar of battery. Really impressed. What I didn't expect was how well the hoover picks up dirt and pet hair. We have a Springer Spaniel and our Dyson has always struggled to pick up everything. I was worried reading other reviews that this Vax wouldn't stand a chance, but its great, it was full of dog hair and dust when I came to empty it, which is also very easy 10/10. It is a little heavy at the top end, which is to be expected seems as it houses the battery, but its easy to push around and very manoeuvrable. The little bracket that comes with it to stand it against a wall safely is great too (see picture). The controls are easy to use, feels robust and it looks great as well in the blue and silver colour scheme.Overall very impressed. I have recommended this product to friends too and wouldn't hesitate to buy another in the future to replace this when the time comes. It has changed our life as our house is hoovered regularly without eating into the precious few hours we have free in our day. Thank you Vax and Amazon :-)

I did a lot of research when buying a cordless vacuum. The main criteria was it's effectiveness for pet hair.I was so excited upon the arrival of this vax blade but that was incredibly short lived!I looks nice and the battery display is great, but that's about it!The suction is appalling!! The brush in the head does not turn independently. As it only moves when the device is moved, it only moves the hair, and the poor suction left it on the carpet! And that was actually only after approximately 7 pushes over the area! It had been vacuumed with my existing corded the previous afternoon, so the hair wasn't even particularly embedded.A few other bits were picked up off the rug but as pet hair was my specific requirement, i ceased use then. I therefore immediately went to the local supplier and purchased a Dyson and honestly wish I'd done this originally!There was no way of directly contacting the seller which was irritating, and when it was sent back, i had to pay £10 for the pleasure, as only £4.95 of postage is paid. In my opinion, this is not on. They send me an inferior product and then i have to pay to get my money back, whilst also buying a more expensive product. A waste of money, time and effort and am bitterly disappointed with Vax. Having Vax only previously, I never will again, or be recommending them to others. The Dyson was absolutley effortless 😊

This vacuum is probably the best I’ve ever used corded or otherwise, sadly though 1 year in the rotating brush bar stopped working but Amazon being great as they are sent me a replacement next day and collected the broken one.This vacuum sucks far stronger than any Dyson model I have used and keeps going for 45mins on max suction. I have trouble walking due to a bad back and this machine is so light I can do my 3 bed semi detached house in 15-20mins and that’s being thorough !

OMG!!! What a product. Amazing. I did trust buying this Vax from lots of good reviews from Amazon. I had Dyson before. Couple of year old. We have two dogs and a cat. I tried very hard to clean the house and I'm asthmatic. Not very happy with Dyson. We decided to buy this Vax at last. We already have Vax carpet washer. It works wonder. So with amazing reviews from Amazon we bought this 5 days ago. Wow! Every tiny little dust and hair came inside out from the carpet and the floor. I even clean sofa, bed and blinds with this tools. I bought extra Vax tools from Amazon. Only cost around 25 pounds. When you charged, it's last around 40 minutes. I have to empty 5 times when I used first. Then 3 days after I cleand the house. Only twice I emptied that cylinder. Amazing!! I can see whole house look very clean and dust free. I'm glad we bought this Vax. I have to say Vac is better than Dyson. Very good affordable price too. Every household need this gadget. Honestly I can't live without this Vax cordless vacuum cleaner. Very light weight too. I can wash cylinder parts. Even unscrew that brush to get the hairs out. I ll definitely keep it clean every month or few times a month.Some people unhappy reviews here making me laugh. Few people never will satisfy even this product work wonder. I only read good reviews to buy this fantastic product Vax. Absolutely love this. Thank you very much Amazon. I can highly recommend this Vax for everyone. I like to give 10 stars for Vax.

I did a bit of research before deciding on this product and found good reviews. Plus it’s half the price of the best selling models in the stick vacuum range so I ordered it and wasn’t disappointed. It’s sturdy yet lightweight, has excellent picking up power and one charge lasts long enough to do the whole house. It’s also very easy to empty and clean the brushes. I’m very happy with the Vax.

After 4 months the drive bearing on the brush in the floor head siezed .This catastrophic failure renders the whole cleaner useless. I own an upright vax cleaner , a hand held cleaner and a vax carpet cleaner all of which give good service and I was an enthusiast till now . As I failed to register my purchase vax customer services contrive to be unaproachable . So no help there. So very disapointing .......

Love it . Doesn’t take as long to hoover and it’s no longer back breaking doing stairs and having to cart hoover upstairs . Doesn’t last as long as advertised but you still get good amount of time . Picks up really well
