Significantly reduces bugs
Our house backs up to a greenbelt in Houston, so we get horrible bugs. My toddler is allergic to mosquitos, and the lanterns and bug sprays just weren't enough. This has exceeded our expectations!The picture is after only 3 days, and you can see how many bugs we've been saved from. At night, the light will attract bugs so you don't want the trap to be where you're sitting. Right now we have it by our back door because that's our closest outdoor plug. The cord isn't very long, so we're getting an outdoor extension cord to move to off to the side from where we sit.My husband was initially skeptical about leaving this on all the time, but we've had no issues in the few spring showers we've had so far. The lid is extra wide and seems to do a great job of keeping water out.

Works well, I think.
This certainly catches a LOT of moths, not as many mosquitoes. It could have been a low mosquito year. It was also so smokey this summer we didn't sit outside much, so I can't say if it kept the mosquitoes down a significant amount or not. Our friend who recommended it says it does, so we'll see next year.You do have to string a cord or run power to it, and we have to dump ours every 3 weeks or so. It doesn't kill the bugs, you have to dump into a plastic bag and then they die off. The chickens liked the extra protein.

These machines are a workhorse!
I LOVE these traps! Our house sits on 4 acres surrounded by marshland, on the Chesapeake Bay. These bug catchers are a lifesaver. It is a full on war with bugs here, especially mosquitoes. This little workhorse does an amazing job. It does such a great job, that I normally have to clean it once a month. The sides/blade becomes caked in the little dead insect bodies. Takes about 15 minutes to take it apart and clean it up. And well worth it! I’m glad it’s doing that much work. The huge puck of dead insect carcasses that falls from the basket every time is soooo satisfying!I can tell you this, when it is NOT on or when it needs cleaning and it is not working fully, the increase in mosquitos and being attacked is immediately noticeable to us! I’d recommend these to anyone.

Best bug catcher around!
We love this bug catcher. It does a great of job trapping bugs and mosquitoes in its basket. Simple to clean, just open trap and dump out bugs. We live in a very swampy area and have tons of mosquitoes. We have bought 3 of these to make a triangle of them bordering our 5 acres, and now I never get bit. Best bug catcher ever!

Not worth buying
Does not work...Catches everything accept, Mosquitoes and Flies..Not worth the money

This product is amazing… I can’t believe how many bugs it got in the first day… We can actually sit outside for once without being bothered! Thank you, Dino products!Definitely worth the money!!!!

Missing brush
Just received package opened it up, read the instructions. There is supposed to be a brush included with the unit for cleaning, there was no brush included
