Stays on.
The bars i use it on are a little on the thicker size so this can take a little while to get on/off, but as my rabbit liked to pull it off and spread hay everywhere. Im glad it doesn't come off easy. Its on the smaller size so it needs refilled often. Probably better used with smaller animals or young rabbits but does the job.
