This question is for roland. the octapad has been around for 40 years. 40 years!!! how come the price remains so high?

The SPD-30 was released in 2010 actually (this version) and it has always been a big seller both in the white and the black color. Quality hardware expensive to produce and the products continues to be very popular, so that's why the price is what it is. I hope that helps a little, thank you
