Kenda K838 Kwest Commuter/Urban/Hybrid Bicycle Tires

My "Spealized Hardrock Sport,1995 Midnight Blue" bike had original tires, that were old & worn. I replaced the originals with these 'Blue" Kenda K838; Please see Kendra tire k838 sold through Amazon for the actual design as that is the tire I received, not the one pictured for these tires in July 2015 ad.This design is optimal for road and grass riding and provides great handling and low rolling resistance, similar to 27" x 1.1/4 road bike tires.I saw a couple of bikes with colored tires and they captured my attention while driving my car. I hope these bring similar attention from others, for safety, while riding.These blue tires look nice and perform great. It will be good when the sellers become aware and change the ad picture to show what they are selling. other buyers have stated this earlier. I read the ads and expected what I received, so I'd like to say "Thank You" to these reviewers. Now, April 16, 2017, the correct design is shown. Good tire, a few bucks more expensive for the blue color, but worth it to me by being more "visible".Happy with my "low resistance" tires and the bike they are mounted on. Would buy again and recommend them.

I wanted my bikes to be colorful to ride by the beach. I fell in like with an Orange bike that didn't have anything else, so I thought these tires would make it pop. It Does!! And if you want to match more, there are blue bike pedals that's the same shade, available on Amz.These tires are wide, city ride style. The ride is very smooth, and I feel very balanced (although it may also be the nice new bike...).When the bike shop gave me back the original tires (since I've never ridden on them), I noticed these are thicker than the manufacturer ones, which made me feel better.The picture on the listing may not be the same color as you think, so beware, if you want to match things with the tires. I bought the Schwinn blue bike seat on Amz to match these tires, and they DON'T. Unfortunately I had to return the bike seat, but I'm constantly looking for Blue accessories to make this bike more awesome. Looks is everything when you bike at the beach! lolThis bike gets me noticed, so when I'm coming, cars would pay attention. Love the safety side effect, and like the compliments too!

Kenda K828 Tires are the absolute best tires for highway cycling. After using 2 other manufacturers and finally turning to Kenda tires, I found the best.Cycling only on the highway at nighttime, I've come to appreciate the K828's more than ever as they're ultra quiet...so quiet that I can now hear my derailleur and the asphalt under the tire. I cannot rate them for wet cycling since I do not ride in rainy weather. My previous tires (always the rear) would last 1,200 miles and I'm getting over 1,400 miles on the K828's. They're also extremely soft and have hugely cushioned my ride.- Excellent grip on asphalt- Awesome value for its cost, I don't believe there's any other tire that can compete with its overall performance

Good, dense rubber material for the tire, great looks, rides insanely smooth. However, it came twisted up in a box way too small for the tire, so when I got it, it was horribly mis-shapen, bent, and such. Had to zip-tie the tire to my bike's rim for a few days to get it in the right shape, and then have to install, then re-install the tube twice since the bead kept coming out and slipping off the rim, nearly causing a blowout both times. Pain in the rear that would've been 100% avoided if it was shipped in a proper large, flat box, for the tire.

Excellent tires. I ordered these tires for my ebike. In rainy weather (Florida) the perform very well. Their grip is excellent. Idk about how long they will last but I ordered them from others reviews. I have 1 Tannus Armour in the rear now because my rear hub motor. I suggest buying the Tannus to help with flats and having to worry about disconnecting everything to change a flat constantly. If you cant afford that then by Mr Tuffy liners for your wheels. Currently using it on the front until i order another Tannus for the front tire. These tires are well designed and recommend them to anyone who has an Ebike. I will update the life durability in a few months.
