iPhone xs max battery
I liked that it came in a nice package very professional came nice and new even smells new lol easy to put in really all you have to do is take off the battery dont have to do what all these YouTube videos tell you you have to do like taking the charging port out and everything like that just unplug the battery and boom take it gently though he might be hard because of the adhesive but after that your ready just buy a new battery and apply new adhesive to it and there you go easy and ready to use I thought it was not going to work at first but I was wrong it works so yeah thank you for the good battery and it had less reviews then the other ones I was looking at the other ones had more bad reviews and more reviews so I think this is the best one base on the reviews because I just really had to make a risk and it worked very happy definitely be buying more battery and my batteries from these guys no one else good price to very affordable and also it fits perfect just like the apple iPhone battery one thing to know though it dont show the battery life but it really dont matter if you dont really care about that but it does show you the percentage of the battery if that's helps but over all nothing to worry about also dont even heat up well it does a little but calm down after a 1min so really dont have to worry about the phone exploding in your hand lol.

Great battery.
Installed few days ago on iPhone SE 1st gen. I downgraded my iPhone because I have always liked the first gen SE due to its compact size. The new phones from apple have had minimal noticeable updates. It’s like if you have a mini tablet for a phone and I don’t need the high end camera, nor a mini tablet since I have the iPad Pro and recently also got the Lenovo yogabook 9i 2 in 1. Enough sidetrack, back to the point… I had stopped using the iPhone SE because of the battery life a few years ago (by a few, I mean about 5). It would only last 2 hours on standby mode and probably 45 minutes of use- even though it would say the battery had 85% life left… it was useless. I stumbled upon this repair kit a few days ago by accident and said “let’s try it out”.This new battery replacement worked out great, it keeps the phone going almost all day, if not more. The phone still works surprisingly good…If have any issues in the future, will keep posted. Thus far, I’m impressed with the performance of the battery.

Terrible battery: only lasted three months
Very disappointed with this battery. Lasted only 3 months and is bulging and unable to keep charge again. Just terrible.

Great batteries, not so great tools
I’m giving this 4* because the main reason I bought it (the batteries) work great and breathe new life into my iPhone 8s. The 1 star reduction is due to the tools it comes with. The suction cups used to pull the screen off the frame are so bad they are unusable, the tweezers for precision movement are very dull, and the screwdrivers are very low end. I have tools from previous batteries that I’ve replaced so this wasn’t a deal breaker for me, and I was buying the battery not the tools. With the exception of the section cup, the tools were passable. I bought 2 packs, the suction cup on the second pack was better.Instructions were incomplete, so definitely take a look at YouTube to decide if this is something you want to tackle.

Good Battery -- but connection cable STICKS OUT causing shutdown
This is a Good Battery, made by XYIRMCYF, for the iPhone SE 2016 -- BUT the Battery's Connection Ribbon Cable Sticks Out. Testing the battery before completely closing up the display screen & the iPhone turns on nicely. HOWEVER when completely close up the display screen to screw in the last two pentalobe screws & then the iPhone unfortunately shuts down completely off & goes through an on/off loop of only momentarily showing the apple logo over & over again while I have the iPhone plugged into a lightning cable charger. Turns out the problem is because this replacement battery's connection ribbon cable is a pinch too long & therefore does not fully fit in to hide the ribbon cable in besides the battery & therefore sticks out. Close up the screen and the battery connection shorts out to shutdown the iPhone. The battery & iPhone are both still okay -- but shuts down off when completely close up the display screen. First I thought I messed up the display screen -- but after observing what happens when closing the screen at the top, then the bottom, then the left side, and then it was completely closing the right side when the shutdown occurred. It's towards that right side where the battery ribbon cable is located & therefore if it sticks out then the short occurs when closing the display screen on that right side. So to make sure the inside/bottom metal shield of the display screen is not shorting the connection, I placed a little piece of electrical tape to cover that exposed ribbon cable but also tried to straighten out that ribbon cable to have it be pushed in straighter when the bottom inside of the display screen forces it down. Had to re-open & re-close the display screen & also reposition the exposed ribbon cable & then reapply the electrical tape a few times to get the ribbon cable to be in a better position to then be forced down correctly to push the ribbon cable into place for the iPhone to completely turn on without immediately shutting back down. What I found with installing replacement batteries on iPhones for myself & family is that the ribbon cable can always be a pinch too long & may have to be forced into place after you connect it. However this is the first time when I had this shutdown problem where the ribbon cable somehow gets an electrical short after closing up the display screen. Fortunately it did not kill the iPhone. Yes I am thankful that I was able to diagnose the issue here -- BUT I'm giving only a generous THREE-STARS for this review. So yes thank you to Amazon for a battery that works -- although really NO THANKS to XYIRMCYF for the quirky ribbon connection cable on this battery.
