Yankee CandleScented Candle | Tropical Jungle Small Jar Candle | Burn Time: Up to 30 Hours

When buying these I read a few reviews saying that these candles don't smell that much and that the box arrived bashed, however due the good price I bought them anyway - and I'm glad I did. The scent is gorgeous and not overpowering, reminds me of warm, sunny evenings on holiday. The box arrived in great shape, not bashed in the slightest, so if wanted I could have given as a gift.

Smells nothing like a tropical jungle, as I've actually been to a tropical jungle because I was in a movie adaptation of Tarzan it didn't make it to the big screen,more a small screen adaptation you would pass among your mates on an unlabelled vhs tape, oh yes my performance was epic. Oh yes the candle...it's ok...smells like an overpriced cocktail...very fruity...but in no way jungly...just ok..stick with Lemon lavender its the best they do.

Got this on deal of the day for £12. I would never spend so much money on candles but decided to try Yankee Candles when this was on sale. These candles have more smell than the home inspiration version and not in a pungent overwhelming way. The smell lingers even after it stops burning. This scent is sweet and mild - good for me as I can be sensitive to smell. This candle would make a good gift as it burns for a long time. However, I cannot justify paying full price for it.

Absolutely shocked at the size of this candle for the price, the candles in the background I've used to show just how small this is and for £8.99 its a rip offPicture one shows it against a candle that cost £11 and picture two shows it against a candle that cost £ £6. They were purchased from Asda. The only redeeming quality of this is the scent. I bought it as a gift but its a total insult and I won't be buying again

I’m not a fan of anything coconut, but this was on offer and decided to give it a try. I’m a huge fan of Yankee Candles and this by far is now one of my favourites. So fresh and clean smelling. I normally go for scents like Clean Cotton and dislike vanilla or cookie like scents. So, if you’re like me in those scents, you can’t go wrong with this delicate refreshing fragrance.

I just think this is one of the best smells there is, light, florally, peony, light rosy and just makes me happy when it's burning.I find the other rose smells they have to strong, So if you like rose and peony, this is the smell for you ^_^also, I like to use this in spring and summer (going to pumpkin spice and cinnamon in colder months)The smell also lasts for days even when not burning.

I bought the Black Coconut as I wanted to create a tropical scent but it is so disappointing :( The candle arrived packaged well which wasn’t an issue but there is literally no scent. I have burnt it twice now for hours at a time and hardly anything except a pretty bland chemical smell. I’m suspicious as to where this was a legitimate Yankee candle or if it is faulty because it’s definitely not the standard you’d expect from such an expensive candle.You could see before it had even been lit that the wax looked like it had air bubbles or elements of unmelted wax which although ugly I assumed was just a cosmetic default and would sort it self after heating. The flame is pretty standard but when you blow it out you are left with a very strong ‘birthday candle smell’ and LOTS of smoke.I’d like a replacement but can’t see how as the normal returns process doesn’t appear to apply to this product.

I’d noticed my house was over run with winter candles so purchased this to bring some summery scents in and I’m not disappointed.It’s smells coconutty and a little sweet but not like you’ve had a bath with a bounty bar. It’s a subtle holiday like fragrance that makes me want the beach now.
