Usually arrives before date stated :)
Really good value. The piggies get very wheeky for this hay and especially the abundance of grass heads.. no fighting over who gets the last bit. Happy pigs equals happy Mother of Pigs :)

Excellent hay.
Have used this hay before and I have never been disappointed when I open a bag. It has a lovely smell and is an excellent hay for my guinea pigs who really love it.

Bad quality!
Sadly this product was very dried out and not many long stems, rabbits barely ate any so had to buy more. Ended up using this as a base for bedding rather than eating.

Didn't send the correct hay

Pricing varies a huge amount week by week but quality for 2020 to now has been very poor.
I buy this hay when it is priced at £5 per bag. It varies a lot on price and you have to be careful not to get conned. The hay itself is very good - most of the time - but you do get " dodgy" bags. Sometimes it is a third full of tiny, dusty bits that have been put in the make up the weight. Sometimes you get stones and mud in it and you have to be careful. I have two rabbits and have been buying this and other hays from Burgess for years. Good quality most of the time, but if you get a dodgy bag sent ( and I have had one that was so full of short strands and dust that I had to throw it away ( yes I complained and no they weren't interested). I gave the Burgess brand another try - I ordered from Amazon...I got two bags of dust with virtually no hay at all - serves me right for not learning my lesson the first time.
