Really solid design a cut above similarly appearing options on Amazon by off-brands. Notably with this one the brass finish actually looks like brass (most look like spray painted gold junk), the dome screws on snugly and the general fit and finish are A+. The base is appropriately heavy and I like the sufficient length of cord so these can be dotted around an area to provide a nice ambiance. My only request would be to have the switch on the physical lamp itself rather than inline, but this is more of a personal gripe and doing so would likely take away from the smoothly designed appearance. I knew from the other reviews what I was getting into- these have a candelabra base and your options for wattage / lumens are diminished. This is an accent lamp, not a lamp one requires for sharp visibility. If you know that going into it, and maybe even use multiples, your results will be excellent. If you need more light the solution *is not* I repeat *is not* to throw in higher wattage bulbs in a single lamp, but to multiply the amount of actual lamps. At this price point that can become preventative for some, but for myself I feel the quality and results are worth the outlay. The included bulb is not E26 as indicated in the listing but an E12. For replacements seek out an E12 2W 2700K 210 Lumen bulb. One of these will not be sufficient to light a whole room. In a small nook like an entryway would be a great place for one of these, or a couple of these will look really sharp on a dresser or credenza for ambient light. The finish meshes quite nicely with the RIvet MCM-style domed brass dual bulb nightstand lamp with pull chain and cylindrical base. I use both in a bedroom situation and they compliment one another excellently. Take the plunge you won’t be disappointed.

This is a really elegant table lamp. I wish there weren't "star sapphire" lines when I look at the lit globe, but it looks and feels expensive. My question remains what the heck is the light bulb. I have long discarded whatever Chinese light bulb box this comes with, but I keep seeing competing answers as to the type of bulb... which happens to be VERY narrow in this lamp. It's a 2W LED bulb which is included, but for me, I would love to get a slightly dimmer bulb. I just don't see what kind of bulb it is. I will cross the bulb bridge when I need a new one I guess. Either way, this is a beautiful beautiful lamp.

I think the lamp is perfect as an accent lamp. I’ve seen mixed reviews about the brightness, personally this gives of the perfect amount of light. I keep mine on the landing of my stairs and it more than does the job keeping people from tripping. Feels solid and well-made. I recommend you take a picture or save your light bulb box so you know what to replace.

Only reason not 5 stars is the first delivery had the glass globe broken while in the box. Picking it up from the porch, it had glass pieces rattling around. The shippers need to be more careful. Reordered another one that night and had a replacement within two days. Thx Amazon! Otherwise I looks great, works well and is an excellent addition to our guest bedroom!

We actually bought this because we broke the same one at an airbnb we were renting... not to say this isn't sturdy - our dog just knocked it off the table and the bulb broke. But I was kind of shocked to find out the host bought it from Amazon. Brightness is great, super cute and the quality gives more pottery barn than amazon!

Was very excited to use with my Philips Hue bulbs. They won't fit inside the dome, nor will a standard A19 bulb. The socket is NOT an E26 as the product description and several reviewers say. The base is an E12, or Candelabra base. It holds the type of bulbs that go into chandeliers, mini-fridges, and nightlights. These let out FAR less light than most standard bulbs will emit. While there is no standard, most 'normal' bulbs give off ~600 lumens, but can easily go as high as 4000-6000 in a 60 watt base. Candelabras typically give off ~350 lumens. This changes the placement and use of the lamp as well. This is NOT for lighting up a room, but as an accent or to lighten up a corner. I fully understand the confusion amungst the buyers, but am pretty unhappy with Rivet's incorrect product description as this was a waste of time and money for me and I would not have bought it if I knew how it worked. Specifically looked for and asked about the E26 base before buying. Not ok.

I read the reviews of this lamp carefully before buying, but went ahead with it anyway. It doesn't have a great FakeSpot review, but I liked the look of it. After using it for a few months, I am very pleased with my purchase. All the materials seem to be of high quality, and I have had nothing but good performance from it. The base is a true brass color, and the light is warm and pleasant. I would be gentle while unscrewing the globe portion, but have had no issues. This is a great statement piece, and provides fantastic lighting for a smaller room, but don't expect it to be the centerpiece of anything larger than a bedroom or small office.

My home decor leans towards traditional, but I love adding some modern pieces for an eclectic touch or two. This lamp from one of Amazon’s brands, Rivet, is one such item. Arrived well packed and it was easily assembled in minutes. It generates a substantial glow of light and is transitional enough in style that it has seamlessly blended in with my other decor.

I received a well made and high quality lamp. The lamp I received does not have any of the defects previous reviews noted. It gives off a nice amount of light considering the bulb is a small candelabra base LED. Beautiful product and I will be purchasing another.

The lamp is nice the quality is good. I am not sure where people are getting the bad reviews from. It is only $75 bucks have these people looked at the price of lamps lately? Nothing wrong with this one for the price it actually looks way more expensive than it is.
