Effectively deter birds
These owls are plastic and lightweight. Not good in windy conditions but look reaslistic and effectively deter birds. Reasonably priced and shipped fast.

***THEY DON'T KEEP BIRDS AWAY***
I bought these to keep some birds away from the front porch. They like to wake me up at 5AM. Unfortunately, these guys didn't work (reason why I gave 4 stars). I returned. However, the product itself is pretty good.

Doing it’s job
We have a problem with squirrels tearing our outdoor cushions, we put out the owls and within an hour a squirrel was scared off our porch.

Cheap and not no place to mount.
The owls are very cheap, very light weight. There is a plug at the bottom to fill with sand but the plug does not hold the weight of the sand. if you plan on mounting this on a shelf good luck as there is nothing to grab onto. I would not recommend this product.

Los pájaros carpinteros dominicanos , no le tienen miedo a esos búhos y no les hacen caso hasta se posan al lado de ellos . No espantan a nadie. Pero al menos sirven de adorno
