Quite possibly a must have....
If you have the Alpha6 power outlet, this is a must have. Let me explain.The power outlet is bulky when plugged into a wall. So buying the power strip streamlines your power needs and brings it closer to you.The cord is long so if you are trying to uncluttered your desk this helps. When the power outlet is plugged in the Alpha's eyes blink.The charging capability is quick especially when using the Alpha out let.A great feature is the on and off button that also shuts down the Alpha. This is a fun steam punk esque addition for your desk. Again to me it is a necessity for the Alpha.

An outlet that is a nightlight.
I purchased the corresponding Robot charger to go with the outlet. Works great, looks cool and has a power switch to turn it on and off. The only major issue is how bright the light is that comes from the outlet being used. It is basically an add on feature to make it look cool but was not needed. The Robot charger let's you know when the outlet is on. They could have reduced the price and left them off. I charge my devices on my night stand and it is very distractive trying to sleep. If the lights have to be there, the should be an option to turn them off.
