great for practice but very small pieces

On initial inspection, this 12-piece welding practice coupon set is exactly as advertised. The steel is bright and clean, and the coupons appear to be precision-cut. The perforations look consistent, and the individual pieces seem like they will snap out easily without excessive distortion. One thing to note: the sheet arrived with a noticeable coating of tacky oil. This is likely applied to prevent rust during storage and shipping, but it will need to be cleaned thoroughly before welding. A quick wipe-down with solvent or degreaser should take care of it, but don’t plan to weld straight out of the package. Overall, the material looks uniform and well-suited for controlled practice work. If you’re looking for consistent training pieces rather than random scrap, this appears to be a solid option.

Fun little project. Make sure to turn voltage down on your welder. It's pretty small and thin metal. Overall it was a cool little welding sculpture for the price

Great practice on thin metal. I have never welded before, I got my azzuno welder for Christmas(2025) and I was able to weld it up with it set to 24 amps 15.2 Volts. It was very challenging getting the parts tact together straight and square but that is why I bought it. ( to learn)

Great for beginners

6 small very , very thin pieces of metal. Easily burned through. Not sure I see their use even for a beginner.

Too small even though I read the dimensions I didn’t realize how hard it is to handle. I’d say that makes it great for practicing welds. I got aggravated with it though, melted through a couple of places, didn’t finish it. Better to get the kit with multiple ones to practice with. I wanted it as a little sculpture but it didn’t go together as I imagined. If I had several I’d try again til I get it right.

A bit of filling and sanding to get good fit up but all in all very nice and very helpful in improving welding process.

Way smaller than I realized. And the metal is pretty thin ... Its not awful but definitely was expecting something a bit larger to show up ... I guess it's still good practice... Very short lived but oh well lol
