Why did I not buy one earlier?
I have 3 chain saws which all do their job except you need both hands to use them. This is brilliant for pruning even large branches. The fact that you have one hand free allows you to hold the branch or hang on with the other.

Cuts well
The media could not be loaded. We cut loads of wood in the garden to burn in our metal binCit enough to fill the bin all on one battery some of it was 4in devking

Very nice, but it broke…
Overall i have been impressed with this little chainsaw. Quality seemed nice considering the price. I liked the hard storage case and the few included safety accessories. I have large hands and the gloves were too small, but no big deal.Performance was good. Once fully charged the battery lasted well… a good 15mins of hard cutting and still on the first battery. The saw went through branches like butter, very nice. Tried a little on a small trunk, and less successful here but the saw isn’t really claiming that, so no negative points. This was going to be a five star review, but whilst trimming more branches, the unit stopped working. On investigation, the adjustment screw that tensions the chain had bent and caused the chain to stop.I’m an engineer working at an engineering company, so we were able to make a new part and fix it, but i think most consumers wouldn’t have that option. It is very likely the company would have made this right under warranty, but it’s hassle i don’t need after less than 30mins use.

Ok for pruning
I thought this would be quite a good little tool to have in the kit, I've got quite a big and rather wild garden so a small portable chain saw seemed like a good idea! I tried it out on a few things. In short, it seems fine for small pruning jobs but on any bits of wood that are over a few fingers thick, it just keeps binding. You'll get through the wood eventually, but it's a bit of tedious process. I've checked the oil and the chain and so on, all seem fine to me so I think it just doesn't have the guts to do thicker pieces which the product description suggests it should. I've included a picture of a bit very big branch it kept binding on as an example. So a bit of a shame, because otherwise it seems like a neat little tool.

Cuts like a knife through butter
The media could not be loaded. This miniature chainsaw kit is fantastic, the saw itself comes in a solid hard sided case for safe storage and transportation. The kit contains everything you need except chain oil, included is a spare chain, two rechargeable battery's plus charger, tools for maintenance and all required ppe for work use including goggles and gloves. This saw really does work well and is just as powerful as a small petrol chainsaw at less than half the weight. I've been using this for cutting pallets up and tree branches for firewood and it rips straight through in seconds and also there is little noise compared to petrol. The two 21v battery's supply enough power to provide the motor with the high torque that any chainsaw needs and doesn't slow down when cutting larger materials. This miniature chainsaw come with some pretty cool features like the battery level display and self contained oil tank with a bulb primer to keep the chain well lubricated and avoiding chain stretch. It's a very cool design, lightweight, easy to handle and manoeuvre and packing plenty of power for small to big jobs. I highly recommend this for any size job or ever just a bit of tree pruning here and there and for the money with two battery's it's excellent value to. Great bit of kit.

Ideal For Branch Trimming
The media could not be loaded. We already own a small chainsaw, but it’s a petrol one and it’s a good brand, so I’m comparing chalk and cheese here…I’d say this chainsaw was best suited for trimming back the branches on your shrubs and small trees. As you’ll see from my video we used it to cut up our Christmas tree. We finished it within about 2 minutes, so it was definitely useful. It’s reasonably lightweight so it can be held in one hand whilst you’re holding whatever needs cutting with the other. I do like the protective shield over the chain. In terms of power, it sounds like a toy to be honest, but it seems to get the job done.It comes in a handy thick plastic case, however it’s not obvious how you should pack everything into it as there aren’t slots that fit the shapes of the saw and accessories. I managed to fit everything in though and can lock it.It comes with:2 batteriesA spare chainProtective glasses (not the greatest quality but good enough)A pair gloves (they won’t help at all if you catch yourself on a chainsaw)A screwdriverA small brush (which is good)The instructions state that the saw holds a maximum of 50ml of chainsaw oil. I put in about 40ml and it started to overflow so be very careful. You then need to “pump the bubble” a few times and you’ll see the oil appear inside it.Overall, it’s a pretty good chainsaw for light garden jobs.

Not the most powerful
This mini chainsaw comes in a sturdy case and is a good easy to handle size, it is not that powerful though so really only suitable for small jobs such as branches , anything much thicker and this will definitely struggle,It is ok for very basic not too heavy jobs.
