The Jesus take the reins socks were a great gift for my equestrian friend. She loved the pattern and said they were very comfortable. She had a good laugh when she opened her gift.

These socks are my hands-down favorite! Absolutely love the “Jesus take the reins” take on them. I’ll wear them proudly at every horse show.

I'm not an equestrienne, but I like wearing tall socks with my knee-high boots. These socks are sturdy and relatively comfortable. The bottom cotton portions are thick and soft, and the upper polyester portions are thick and stretchy. I have girthy wide calves, and the uppers are lightly compressive. I wear a size 9.5 shoe and the socks fit fine. The yoga dog print is very cute, though it does get pretty stretched out when worn. These socks are quite warm; I would definitely not wear them in the summer. They hold up well to washing so far.

These socks are nicely padded in the foot, without being to thick on the calf. They are comfortable to wear and the print is fun. They have held up well through 10-15 watches so far.

Right out of the package, this looked like a sock that I knew my equestrian daughter would love, and she did (we chose the Bye Bye Money deisgn). It's a fun design with stretchy fabric from the ankle up that transitions to a traditional padded foot covering. They reminded her of the "Dreamers and Schemers" line of socks sold at tack shops.The socks are not bulky and stretchy enough to be pulled up over breeches. You will find that the deeper color of the socks will appear to fade when stretched during wear, due to the opaque nature of the material. The color does hold up after washing, however.All in all, the design colors could be a little more vibrant - which would help when worn over darker breeches - but this is not a character defect of the sock...just a by-product of the stretchy material. These are super fun and would make a great gift for anyone in the horse community.

These socks are ok. I was looking for a lightweight over the calf sock with good cushion on the heal. They don’t have as much heal cushion as I wanted and the top is too tall for my legs and a little too thin.

This is the cutest pair of socks. I ordered the Downward Dog style and I’m so pleased with them.The socks are well-made and long enough for any tall boot wearer. They are also wonderfully stretchy but , at the same time they hold their shape well and they don’t slouch. The foot portion is slightly padded, making these socks so comfortable to wear – even all day. Furthermore, after machine washing, they retain their colors and still look and feel great.These equestrian socks are such a cute design. For any rider who loves dogs and practices yoga, these socks are perfect. Most of the professional trainers and their students that I know love to wear novelty socks – not only when they are practicing but even when they are wearing the formal attire that competition requires. After all, a layer of tall boots and breeches hide them from view.I recommend them for any rider who appreciates a comfortable, as well as cute, pair of boot socks.
