These work well and get very bright. More than enough to light up my room. In fact I usually don’t turn the brightness up more than 50% unless I’m doing something where more light is useful. These were easy to install (it’s like any normal light bulb) and set up. I will note that these are picky and won’t connect to 5Ghz WiFi. These will also connect to your phone via Bluetooth in the app, without the need to be connected to WiFi. I enjoy the ability to adjust the color temperature, brightness, and sometimes the color for fun. Using these with the app or Alexa is pretty smooth as well. The app is well built too. I’ve been using Govee products for years and have zero complaints about the app. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of being able to use the physical light switch. I know Govee offers buttons and switches and I might give one of those products a try at some point. For now I either ask Alexa or if I want to turn them on and don’t feel like talking I’ll just flick the light switch off and on. They will turn on after a second or two and whatever they were set to last is preserved. I guess one other thing that bothers me (very little) is the latency between changing a setting and the bulb(s) taking effect. It is likely just my internet connection and it varies quite a bit from half a second to 5 seconds at worst, but rarely that bad. I should also note that the two bulbs function completely independently of each other, but can easily be put in a group in the app (and I think on Alexa if that’s more your thing) to function as one. They do occasionally get a bit out of sync when you change the color/brightness/on/off using the group - if you turn off the group, one might turn off and then the other will turn off a second or two later. It doesn’t bother me at all though. Overall good product that works without issues.

Impressed with the brightness of these smart bulbs, it pairs easily with android and apple phones. The app feature plenty of features to set the light color based on plenty of presets. There is option to create your own presets as well. I liked the inbuilt mode which changes the color based on sound changes (great for house parties).

These 1200-lumen Govee bulbs are impressively bright, easy to set up, and offer tons of color and customization options. The app is intuitive and responsive, and shipping was fast. In terms of performance and features, they easily rival Philips Hue at a better value. The only downside is the lack of Apple HomeKit support, which would make them perfect.

These things are awesome! You can download the app & link them through there, or you can even set them up directly through Alexa! So simple, just screw them in & link them to the app (or Alexa). They fit any standard light socket, & once they're connected you can control them with basically any smart system.

These bulbs have quickly become one of my favorite smart home upgrades. The colors are vibrant, the whites are clean, and the brightness easily lights up a whole room. Setup was simple and the Govee app makes changing colors and brightness levels quick and smooth. It was super easy to connect and I’ve had no issues! I love being able to set the mood with just my voice or a tap on my phone. Whether I want bright light for working or soft warm tones for relaxing, these bulbs make it happen instantly. They respond fast, look great, and have been completely reliable.

We love these light. We have several through out our house. We probably will buy more.

Govee is solid brand with solid products and I highly recommend them for the price. These bulbs are bright, easy to set-up, and work seamlessly with google home. They work well with my other Govee products like the TV Dreamview sync and I could not be happier. Highly recommend

The light bulbs are easy to install and connect in the app. But the app is very finicky, every time I turn my lights on it is a completely different colour than what I set in the app, and when I go ahead and change it in the app, sometimes it just won’t change, and I would have to restart the app. The light bulbs though, I have no complaints. It was easy to install and it is very bright—it lights up my entire room easily. There are many different colours you can set it to and it is very easy to do so.
