Absolutely love the Ring Battery Video Doorbell Pro! From the moment I installed it (which was super easy and took less than 10 minutes), I could see a huge difference in the quality and performance compared to previous models. The video is incredibly clear, even at night, and the two-way audio is crisp and responsive.I really appreciate that it's completely wireless – no messy wiring, and the battery lasts much longer than I expected. The motion detection is spot on and I love being able to customise the alerts and zones through the app. It gives me real peace of mind when I'm away from home.If you're looking to upgrade your home security or want a reliable, easy-to-use video doorbell, this is 100% worth it. I am so happy with this Ring Doorbell. Just what I needed, was just waiting for it to go down in price before buying and it did, It Is better than expected. The pictures are very clear. Very simple to set up. Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Does not respond as quick as we expected.But maybe needs repositioning.Otherwise it is very good, to see who is at the door.

This was the next addition to our Ring system - we already had the Ring alarm system which we were very happy with, and so we took advantage of this doorbell (and chime) being on special offer.The doorbell is easy to fit and set-up, and the chime just plugs into a power socket. As with other Ring products, you use the app to scan a barcode and follow the instructions, very easy. The app offers various configuration options but we’ve pretty much left everything in its default setting as that suits us. In hindsight we could probably have got away with buying a less-expensive model because we haven’t really explored the features that this top-of-the-range model.Prior to buying, our main concern with a smart doorbell was the delay, i.e. how long would it take for a notification to come up on our phones, and how feasible would it be to have a conversation through the doorbell. We needn’t have worried, it only takes about a couple of seconds at most for the notifications to come through, and holding a conversation is definitely possible. There is no delay with the chime, it responds almost immediately - something we weren’t expecting was that our Alexa speaker would also announce that there was somebody at the door!Our secondary concern was the battery life, as we didn’t want to have to charge the battery pack frequently. We have had the doorbell about 3 weeks now, and its battery health is showing as 59% - so I suspect we will get about 2 months out of each charge, which is acceptable for us.The only problem we experienced was the wifi connectivity, with a poor connection being reported. This was surprising as the distance from the doorbell to the router is only about 7 metres, with 2 walls in between. So we decided to swap our Chime for a Chime Pro and make use of the latter’s internal ‘chime network’ as the chime is situated midway between the doorbell and router - this solved the poor connection.Very happy with this doorbell. At the moment we are still on the free trial of the Ring Home Plan but I suspect we will be subscribing to a plan when that ends so that we continue to get full functionality (e.g. video storage/access), and also possibly include our Ring alarm system in the plan.

It would be fair to say that my original review (see below) was not particularly complementary, but now, after what I can only describe as truly superb customer service I wish to amend my review.After commenting on the poor performance of the ring door bell, Jakob from Ring customer services got in touch via email offering advice and suggestions to improve my units performance, it has taken us a short while, but I can now report that my Ring door bell is working as it should and providing exceptional results, giving me peace of mind with notifying me of any one entering our property.It is a shame that one can only give five stars because the level of dedicated, professional customer service demonstrated deserves a far higher rating.My previous review: “I seriously regret this purchase, when it does work, the time it takes to notify me that someone is on my property is far too long, (I have a full fibre internet connection- so it’s not my internet speed). Visitors have usually been and gone before I am notified. In addition it often fails to even register that people are arriving - today for example we have had four visitors and yet none were identified. The whole point of the product is security but it fails spectacularly.”
