Overall, these lights don't look as robust as the VW originals (see pics) and the plastics look a bit poorer. But they are very easy to fit. The trickiest part is removing the VW connector from the original lamp.[TIP: push the connector on (i.e. don't pull) and press the release catch and then pull off.]They clip in positively on my Golf mk6.They're white and bright (surprise!) and they give dash errors (double-surprise!) 3 stars because I guess they're OK if you're not bothered by dash errors and just HAVE to have white number plate lights.I removed them straightaway.

These are bright numberplate lights, each containing 16 white LEDs. Current consumption at 13.8V is approx. 350mA, for a power consumption of approx. 4.8 watts apiece.Unfortunately they don't fit the two vehicles I've been able to try them on (a 2020 Caddy and a 2001 Mk.4 Golf Estate). Both of these vehicles have a smaller, screw-mounted numberplate light, so the snap-in numberplate light doesn't fit. If I get the chance to test them in a car they actually fit I'll add more photos.

Replacing other brands LEDD lights which caused a warning on the dash for a light out, these have the correct resistance so no longer trigger the warning, straight swap and you're away with a brighter light on the plate.

Ordered these for my son to upgrade his VW Scirocco as he had previously ordered led number plate lights elsewhere but they were generating CANBUS errors. These arrived well packaged and were literally a two minute job to fit- pop out the old units, unclip the locking latch from the cable and re-insert. The lights are much brighter than the previous ones and more importantly do not generate any errors on the dashboard. He is over the moon with them - the light is bright and clean and gives the car a nice upgrade.. only issue now is that he wants all the other lights upgraded!Great price break and quick n easy upgrade- highly recommended. RZG Store LED Rear Licence Number Plate Light White Canbus For VW and many others.The RZG Store LED Rear Licence Number Plate Light are well made from decent quality materials and fit my VW Golf perfectly, they will also fit an array of different vehicles in the VW range and possibly some Audi and Skoda since they are all the same brand underneath, my only gripe is that they dont seem quite as bright as my previous LED lights but not by much, however they are ample for my needs.At £19.99 at the time of reviewing however I think they are very expensive, I recently got 4 very similar light for £14 so hopefully the price on these will drop soon.
