Put it in my skimmer yesterday and it seems to be working fine... the water certainly swirls better around the skimmer than before

The media could not be loaded. version 3 doesn’t stay in place with the kids in the pool, lost the adjustability of version 2 therefore its not as effective at different water levels, it’s easier to clean but at what cost 🤷🏼‍♂️after 24 hrs i dropped it from 2 to 1 star….not happy with version 3 its going back 💩

I liked the old one I had better .I had to replace it because it got jammed wide open and couldn't adjusted it any longer. The new one is a lot easier to clean out though, but it does not increase the suction power nearly as much

Doesn't really create a vortex like advertised but does keep bugs kinda coraled from just floating in and our of skimmer

The media could not be loaded. I have used both version 1 and version 2 of the skim doctor and was very happy with their performance. I had a version one break after several years of service and was excited to try version 3. I was sad to see that it would barely swirl the water.I think the other versions were better because they physically attached to the skimmer baskets creating a better seal. This one sits on top of a skimmer basket and if you have a lot of heavy swimming in the pool, it will pull off of the skimmer basket due to the waves.

I have been trying to find a way to get our skimmers to draw in more water to get rid of the dirt on top of the water. After watching the video I was hopeful I found the solution to my problem.The product does not make a big difference and def does not suck in the water like it shows in their video. The product is overpriced and cheaply made.Use other alternatives that are cheaper.
