| Warranty Description | Suntouch and watts radiant (the companies) warrant their respective electric floor heating mats and cables (the products) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for twenty-five (25) years from the date of manufacture. Thermostats and controls sold by the companies are warranted, parts and materials, for two (2) years from the date of purchase. The sole remedy for controls is product replacement. This warranty is only provided to customers who purchase the products from authorized resellers, and is transferable to subsequent owners of properties where the products are initially installed. |

There is not touch screen.
Cheapest option I could find to replace my old Suntouch Thermostat. I originally had the fully programmable Suntouch controller. I used to hate the way it was programmed, but once it was set up it worked just fine. I was looking for a cheaper easier to use solution, to a Dead programmable thermostat so I got this. Overall I'm pretty happy, it got my floor working again, for a little less money, and is very simple to use. I will buy this type again for my other bathroom when that programmable dies!

Works fine on standard 110v floor wire
I used this control to replace mine that went bad. The one I had had more functions on it, like setting it up for on/off times during the day/week. I found that I set the floor temp for one setting during the winter and never changed it. That way no matter when I went into the bathroom (especially during the night) it was always comfortable. This control is either on or off. Just what I needed. Set the temp and forget it. It has worked fine with my heated floor wire, which is 110 volts. It also is easy to read and will show the current temp of the floor. I thought the price was pretty good too, in comparison to other controls.

I bought this item to replace a dead NuHeat thermostat, which never worked properly. Easy to install if you're replacing an older thermostat, just make sure you watch what you're doing: remove one wire from dead thermostat and install in new thermostat, one at a time.I really like the simplicity of this unit, since it is installed in a second home that sees alot of friends using the place, Thus i did not want a complicated, programmable thermostat.
