Over the years I have put together three dressers, my computer desk, a cabinet for my television, and innumerable bookshelves, so I was not worried about assembling this dresser. Unfortunately, I did not realize I was buying a dresser with no reviews. It is big and heavy, very substantial, but the very heavy top and bottom are held on with four 1.25 inch long screws and lock mechanisms and four small 1 inch long wooden pegs. My sister and I did the initial assembly. As soon as we stood the dresser up, all the screws and pegs pulled out of the bottom and half of the top and tore out or split some of the wood around them. There just is not enough structure to hold it together. I made three visits to the home improvement store to get additional (longer) screws and wood glue for the pegs. I added two three inch long screws onto each side, top and bottom, (8 in all) keeping the shorter ones in place, but the dresser still was not square, and I couldn't get the drawers to go in. Next, my brother, who is very proficient in woodworking, came, and we added different screws (he didn't like the big ones I used), but the dresser still wobbled and leaned to the side. The piece that is supposed to cover the back was crooked; we couldn't line it up. We hoped the drawers would add more firmness, but the drawer slides do not align, and we ended up with one inch gaps at the bottoms of the drawers, though this time we did get two of them to go in. Three of the drawer handles were larger than the screws provided to hold them on. We finally ended up taking the dresser apart. It was far too heavy for me to try to return to Amazon, and I had recycled the box because there wasn't room for it in my apartment. At least we were able to repurpose some of the wood. Some we (regretfully) threw away. I hated to lose the money, but there just was no way we could figure out to save the dresser.

Directions not that good. Lables not good. Customer service is horrible. Paid for shipping, and dresser showed up damaged. Seller wouldn't give me a table to reutn for free. Wanted me to pay to return thier crappie product. Do not order any of thier products!! 2 dresser, both damaged and really bad products

This like anything you need to put together, was frustrating. I laid out all the items by number and letter. Then the directions….the hardest part was for me to figure out the drawer glides. I’ve attached pictures of the correct way as the directions are not clear how to place them and where to put the screws. Pay attention to the letters which are difficult to see. Again, patience and don’t rush. The only problem is the knobs. Only about half screwed into the screws that came with it. The others didn’t so I had to go to buy longer screws. It was time consuming however I’m happy with the final product so far.Remember, patience, patience, patience.

Bought this dresser without looking at the reviews and now I regret it. The "wood" is actually made out of compressed sawdust and practically crumbled and fell apart when trying to assemble the screws and any of the boards together. The thin board for the backside of the dresser is too long and leaves a big gap on the bottom. The "deep drawers" aren't actually that deep. Two of the knobs for the drawers were defective and wouldn't screw on no matter what I tryed. And on top of that the seller refuses to give a full or even half of a refund. Said he would give me $30 or $50, which isn't enough to compensate for any of the money wasted on this product. I ended up just deciding to return it myself and disassemble the dresser, but now I'm finding out that the seller or Amazon isn't going to pay for shipping and is making me pay $227.Never buy this waste of money and product and just spend the extra $100 on a nicer one from Ikea.

This is a poor quality item made of mostly compressed sawdust and cardboard…very disappointed! Instructions were confusing- not enough fasteners to properly secure…drawers didn’t closed properly. Draw pulls were stripped. Save yourself the headache!

I received the item quickly, but there were many things wrong with the product I was sent. The top of the dresser wood was scratched, and six drawer handles did not catch onto the thread. I will have to get longer bolts to make it work. One rail was bent to the point that the roller wouldn't move. I would suggest you look elsewhere for a dresser.

Easy to assemble, had a few minor scuffs. Drawers are very light even when filled.
