100 Knitted Tiles: Charts and patterns for knitted motifs inspired by decorative tiles

Best knit book of this subject I have seen; very reach in scope and patterns.

The patterns are beautiful and “inspired by decorative ceramic tiles from around the world”. That statement enticed me to buy the book and then no pattern mentioned the inspiration. A bit disappointing. I love mosaic knitting and do little stranded work. With that said, I need to hunt the mosaic patterns throughout the book. Not sure how the tiles were organized.

This book has such a great variety of techniques, to include squares knit from the center, from the outside edge, and in segments.The ideas can be used as squares, or expanded to scarves or larger projects. I'm a long-time knitter, and even I found ideas to spur my creativity.

Lots of great practice tiles to knit. Various skill levels. Great if you’re looking for inspiration. 5 projects to do in the back of book. Can’t wait to work on a tile.
