Amazing product and customer service
This roti maker is very useful for daily roti making and stuffed parathas. It has reduced my workload a lot; you just need some practice in the beginning. I also want to thank StarBlue customer service for their quick response and resolution. When my roti maker stopped working after four months, I contacted their customer service and they were very helpful. They sent me a new roti maker in two days. I am highly satisfied with both the product and the customer service.

Disappointed 😔
I am very disappointed with this roti maker. It does not work as advertised. I tried every possible method soft dough, loose dough, different flour types but nothing helps. The chapathis turn out hard instead of soft, and they never puff up properly. When they do cook, the results are uneven some parts raw and some parts burnt. Overall, the rotis are not soft, they are difficult to make, and the sticking issue makes it even worse. This product is not reliable for making chapathi, roti, or tortillas, and I cannot recommend it.

Love the convenience. Works perfectly!
I’m not an expert yet but this certainly beats trying to roll my tortillas and roti in perfect circles like those who do it all the time can manage. That being said, mine are edible and I’m getting better every time. This little machine makes a major chore (for me anyway), a breeze!

Overall I recommend it
My previous review got deleted, so here is another as long as it can last Heats up pretty well, but smoke & plastic smell scares me though. Chapatis are very chewy/rubbery, and break a lot, I dont know what I am doing wrong, It had worked for many people so I am sure Its not the machine, I just need more practice I guess. 4 stars cuz there is so much room for improvement, parts move. 4 stars cuz it cooks the dough for me, & saves lot of my time. I am a student, and dont get much time for cooking, and I dont care much for the quality of the chapati, as long as the dough is cooked. Overall I recommend it Jan 2021 Update: brought it in March 2020, rarely used it (used about 5lb atta) now it doesn't flatten the dough anymore, I have to press it multiple times to flatten it a little bit, by the time the dough is flat enough to call it a roti the roti is half cooked, then the end product ends up chewy and doesn't fluff.. roti are not at all soft. I was expecting it to not last for a long time anyway, lasted as expected about 6 months cuz I rarely used it and handled it with care. not worth for the price I paid. My previous review got deleted, so here is another as long as it can last Edit 2: it stopped heating about 4 months ago, it doesn't flatten the dough, and doesn't even warm up so that I can atleast use it to warm my chapatis before eating. So, it's dead after light use for about 1 year

Waste of money
I bought one first, it did not solve the purpose of flattening the rotis. I thought maybe the piece was not ok so I replaced that one and the second was also the same. It did not flatten the rotis at all. Very disappointed. I will not suggest to buy it

A Game-Changer for Roti Lovers!
The 10-inch Roti Maker by StarBlue with the complimentary Roti Warmer has truly transformed my experience in the kitchen. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by its solid build and durable design. The non-stick coating on the plates not only ensures easy cleaning but also guarantees that my rotis never stick, achieving that perfect texture. The generous plate size is ideal for crafting large rotis, making it a convenient choice for family meals or gatherings. The adjustable temperature control lets me customize the cooking process, resulting in rotis that are soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The addition of the free Roti Warmer has proven to be invaluable, allowing me to keep my rotis warm and fresh for an extended period. Operating the Roti Maker is a breeze, with quick heating and a cool-touch handle for safety. The speed at which it produces perfectly round rotis has significantly reduced my cooking time, providing me with more flexibility in my daily routine. In conclusion, the StarBlue Roti Maker is a must-have for anyone who appreciates the simplicity of creating homemade rotis with efficiency and precision. Highly recommended for its quality construction, user-friendly features, and the thoughtful inclusion of the Roti Warmer.

Couldn't make puffed up rotis
I really really wanted it to work. I bought this because I have problems puffing up roti on induction glass cooktop. I saw tons of how-to videos about making the right kind of dough as well as what steps to follow. I was pretty confident about the stickiness of the dough. I couldn't possibly make it more runny. I followed all instructions to T, but unfortunately success rate was really low. I tried few batches and tried with different sizes of balls too. Out of 40+ rotis only 3-4 turned out to be ok. They weren't super good but pretty decent. Rest all were either too thick, or too thin or too raw or too crunchy. Lot of them formed hole while pressing and never puffed up. In short, I absolutely had no confidence as to how the roti would turn out. I had to throw away lot of rotis because they became too stiff to eat. Machine build quality is low. The hinges are bit wobbly. Even after letting it heat for 20 mins, the green led would not light up. Pressing hard is not possible because it starts making weird sound. You can't press multiple times too. So as mentioned in manual you get to press only once. Once you start making rotis, green led would never turn on. I am not sure if that was problem with the unit. I am not going to test more. It's not worth it-- unless you really are ok to eat ANY form of roti. I can't, so I sadly have to go back to manually making the rotis. It must be magic if this thing worked as advertised for anyone.
