We needed to order a replacement blender pitcher for our Vitamix 5000 machine that we inherited from my parents. We ordered this one and we were delighted when it arrived. The handle is much improved from the previous model. It works perfectly with the Vitamix 5000 base. We are very satisfied and would highly recommend this blender pitcher if you need a replacement.

This works great to replace my vitamix blender canister which my children “accidentally “ threw in the garbage.

I went to an estate sale and bought a Vitamix commercial grade blender for ten dollars with a crack of the Pitcher. OEM replacements are fairly expensive so this was a deal, works great. The fastest margarita ever,3 seconds. WOW.

Concerns: We like how it blends, how easy it is to remove food afterwards, ease in cleaning. We changed back to this slender container. So far so good. Also how long will plastic container stay clear before it is darkened by food stains? We’ll see.

Product does not come with metal base as advertised. Still works as constructed, but disappointed that the product isn't what I thought I was buying.

I have not tried any replacement pitchers other than the ones offered by Vitamix, so this was a pleasant surprise. I had gotten a hairline crack in my last pitcher, and it would allow a few drops of whatever liquid through, but the main reason to replace was that I was concerned that whatever was getting through would make me sick if it was continued to be used. This pitcher works just as expected, and I an extremely happy to know that it fit well, just like the manufacturer replacement pitcher I had. Great product for replacement pitcher.
